I play pedal steel and use a Milkman head into a cab with a 15" Paul Franklin speaker. I was using a speaker cable that I thought was a quality cable (it's name is porcine in nature). I purchased a Rattlesnake speaker cable and had a friend change out the porcine cable with the Rattlesnake cable as I played. Much to my surprise, the difference in quality of sound was notably audible - favoring the Rattlesnake. The Rattlesnake cable delivered much a rounder high-end and a more robust middle (both critical to pedal steel). The low end was probably least improved I think because of the 15" speaker. The porcine cable is now coiled up on the floor in my music room wishing it were a rattlesnake.
