If you're new to Rattlesnake Cable Company, you are probably trying to get a sense of our company and understand our history. It can be overwhelming when deciding to take a chance on a new brand for you. We get it.
Over the years, I have been on a few podcasts and interviews, and these can paint a fairly complete picture of our company philosophy and how we feel that your customer experience is so important to us.
These are in chronological order, with the latest activity at the top. It can be very interesting to listen to the old ones too. I'm constantly amazed by the growth this business has seen, and we hope to be making your next cable very soon!
Guitar Knobs is one of the most entertaining gear-related podcasts out there. I was on it way back in 2016 or so. It was great to be back on it to talk about all that has changed. It's amazing to think about the growth from 2016 to 2023.Watch Video
I had a chance to sit down virtually with Andre. We talked a lot about gear, but the part I most enjoyed was that we did get into a serious conversation about using instrument cables as speaker cables and why that is a bad idea.Listen to Episode
I was very excited to be on my hometown podcast. This interview went in many unexpected directions. I went in thinking we'd only talk about Rattlesnake Cable Company, but we went very deep into my own personal history of living in Montana.Watch Video
After being on the Guitar Dads Podcast, they mentioned the 40 Watt Podcast. That immediately piqued my interest, so I reached out to Phillip and got on. It's another great convo, and if you're a Patreon guest we get into some heavy on-stage problem-solving tips.Watch Video
Being a dad myself, it made a lot of sense to get on the Guitar Dads Podcast. Matt and Dave are two New Englanders who are serious about gear. We had a lot of laughs during this one.Watch Video
In 2023, I had a chance to sit down with Mark of The Guitar Radio Show, which is based in Texas. It was an opportunity to help spread some brand awareness, and the conversation focused on some of our gear as well as the origin of the business. It was a great conversation.Listen to Episode
Jake at I-IV-V (145) Rural podcast is also a recording engineer at Ill Eagle Studio south of Missoula. His video podcast goes into detail about recording, as well as interviewing artists and gear-related nerds like myself.Watch Video
I had a lot of fun talking to the guys at The Tone Control. I always enjoy an opportunity to engage in Discord Channels, and there were some Rattlesnake customers who frequent their specific channel. We got nerdy, and we had some laughs on this one.Watch Video
It was great to be the first episode of Season 2 of The Science of Sound podcast. Cody puts out a great podcast, and it was the first podcast shot on-site at our shop. We may or may not have drank a shot of whiskey for this episode.Watch Video
The first time I met the guys at the High Gain Podcast was at our booth during Winter NAMM 2020. During the height of the pandemic, I reached out about being a guest - where traditionally, they didn't have guests very often. I was excited they were into the idea!Listen to Episode
It was great to be back on the Porter Pickups Tone-Cast podcast. Brian Porter and I have grown to be friends, and it was great to catch up during the height of the pandemic. We both exhibited at NAMM earlier in the year, and it was interesting to talk about the future during this crazy time.Listen to Episode
During Winter NAMM 2020, it was great that the High Gain Podcast wanted to do a quick interview at our booth. I was a fan of their show prior, so it was very exciting!Watch Video
During Winter NAMM 2020, Bass Musician Magazine swung by the booth. We loved doing these on-site interviews during the show. Since then, we've done a few things with Bass Musician Magazine, and we hope to continue that in the future.Watch Video
The Beer & Gear show at Music Villa in Bozeman, MT, was a great show. In this episode, you'll notice I don't drink beer. I love beer. I just don't like drinking it at 9 AM. Intense. It was super fun, and I do miss you, Joe Knapp (RIP).Watch Video
Justin Angle is a business professor at the University of Montana, and I had a chance to talk about our business on the New Angle Podcast. His podcast does include local Missoula celebs, so it was an honor to be one of the guests.Listen to Episode
Brian Porter of Porter Pickups has been a great industry friend. Since they are based in Boise, ID, it's great to talk to someone who has the perspective of a gear business in a similar region. I always love talking to Brian, and this podcast was no exception.Listen to Episode
Guitar Knobs was one of my first podcast appearances. Todd purchased a cable and immediately wanted to see if I was interested in being a guest! I love any and every opportunity I can get to talk about Rattlesnake Cable Company!Watch Video
If you're not listening to Blake on The Tone Mob, you are truly missing out. This is one of the premier podcasts in the gear industry. I was fortunate to be on back in 2016 (I was on later - 2020ish, but unable to find it). If you want to learn about the early days, this is a great listen.Listen to Episode
