I happened upon Rattlesnake Cables some years back. I try to buy things that are made ethically, so I am always scoping out boutique companies. What I have found with Rattlesnake is that the products are incredibly well-made, but still at a decent price point. When you consider the customizations ability, I would even say that these might be priced a little low. I think Hank and the team at Rattlesnake is doing something that other manufacturers are not. His products are great, and his attention to detail and value trickles all the way down to the packaging. All at a price point comparable or lower to many other custom cable manufacturers. Your dollar isn't going to some private equity organization led by spreadsheets. It's going to a real company run by real musicians with accesible administrators. They deserve your consideration.

Insanely fast shipping. I live a long way from Missoula, and I am amazed at how fast my orders get to me. Nothing has ever really shown up wrong, but I have changed my mind on some things and Hank could not have been more accomodating.

First time purchaser from rattle snake cable company and honestly super happy! First the quality of care in packaging was to impressive, each cable is wrapped up nicely and in their own reusable travel bag branded with the logo. It has a nice feel / quality to them. When opening each bag, no zip ties or twest ties holding the cable in a loop, rather a nice red Velcro strap. Nice touch on the red, much harder to lose. Each cable in the individual bags was stacked neatly in an appropriately size box to ensure little to no movement which I feel desires a call out. Outside of the packaging and shipping, the build quality of the cables, in my opinion feels above par. The snake weave look AWESOME in person, the texture, weight and quality feels durable as hell. The switchcraft and neutrik plug feel extremely sturdy with how they are attached to the cable as well. Between the quality and craftsman's ship of the cables & above and beyond customer service, I will be a returning customer for any and all cables I need going forward for sure!

Customer service is top tier! The first shipment, UPS damaged in shipment, I ended up with a box of the most random items and weird 2nd tracking number the was entirely on UPS's side. After I received the box, snapped a photo and emailed it off to rattlesnack. Within what felt like 15 minutes, I received a phone call from a random phone number from Montana. Much to my surprise, it was Amy from Rattlesnake calling me regarding my issue. We walked through the tracking info, shared a few laughs about the situation with UPS and came up with a plan of action collectively for a clam with UPS. Amy and the team at rattlesnake shipped out a new order, submitted the claim with UPS, as I also contacted, and in less then a week, issue was resolved and cables delivered.

I used to believe that as long as cables were built well, they were all basically the same. I didn't have Mog***I or any crazy big names, but my cables were decent and that seemed fine. Then I bought 2 Snakehead instrument cables, a speaker cable, and an IEC cables from Rattlesnake and took them to the studio. Swapping those 4 cables...and doing nothing else...showed a -2db drop in the noise floor on my rig. An SM57 into a preamp into a DAW, with digital metering, does not lie or exaggerate. My rig shed -2db of noise just by adding 4 Rattlesnake cables! Once I picked my jaw up off the control room floor, I ordered Ultraflex cables to repatch my pedalboard with. The following weekend, my band Trash Diva played the annual MacRock fest. Bands we've known for years and played with many times complimented my tone and the clarity of my sound for the first time ever. Friends, I'm the same player I always was, the only thing that changed was Rattlesnake Cables. I used to believe that all cables were basically the same, but after using them live and in the studio, the only thing I believe about cables now is that mine are going to come exclusively from Rattlesnake.
