I ordered (2) 8" Pro Flex Patch cable in black with G&H Right Angle GGN to G&H Right Angle GGN in an S-Configuration. The cables were received well and looked professionally created with great attention to details. I especially liked the 'Rattlesnake Cable Company' stamped heat shrink wrapped on the plugs. I also needed an XLR cable to go from my Two Notes Torpedo C.A.B. M+ to my Headrush FRFR-112 2000-watt 1x12" Powered Guitar Cabinet. Since I needed the XLR connectors to be oriented in a specific direction, I emailed Hank and sent him some edited photos of the Two Notes and Headrush. After some back and forth about the length of the cable and if I needed cable weave and what color, 2 days later, I had the order. The custom ordered XLR cable came in a cloth bag with the company logo on it. The price is a little more than some other companies, but these cables are worth it since they are from an American company with roots in the guitar world. I highly recommend Hank, Rattlesnake Cable Company and the cables. When I need more cables or other items, I will be back. I am still deciding on the Rattlesnake line buffer and the Tap Tempo...

As far as I can tell, the only advancement in cables over the last thirty years or so has been a renaissance of retro fabric wrapped products and, perhaps, some improved durability, maybe quality of materials. No sense in reinventing the wheel. But...these cables are different. They feel different. Not in a gimmicky way; it's because of their behavior. Even though the hardware on either end is substantial and tough, these products seem weightless, are just flexible enough to accommodate movement, but stiff enough to resist the usual braiding and tangling. I ordered an angled plug, and it DOES fit into the concave of my tele jack. The texture of the wrap is attractive, has some personality, for sure, but seems a cut above in how protects and doesn't accumulate grime (you know the feeling of an old cable that's been dragged across who-knows-what for years). Plus, they just look pretty cool without stealing the show from your axe. A great complement. A balance of sci-fi and vintage (tweedy look from a distance). Might seem sort of dandy-ish or super nerdy, but because you can choose colors and weaves you can complement the aesthetics of your instrument. I don't think it's wishful thinking or some purely psychological defense of paying a little more, but they sound better, cleaner, bigger. The two things I've done to do justice to my Collings SoCo and tele...and to get the most out of my Carr Mercury: buying an excellent buffer...and getting a few of these cables (I am waiting for a patch from amp to pedalboard to arrive soon).

And, really appreciated Hank getting int touch with (phone call) to combine two orders that I messed up, so that I could save on shipping. And, he reminded me of the 20% sale, which whittled down cost even more. This is not faceless business as usual.

Over the years I’ve ordered many products from Hank and will continue to do so and suggest his Cables to colleagues. I don’t often “unofficially” endorse products but his are worthy of praise. Everything is built to order with impeccable attention to detail using quality stuff (these cables honestly hold their own against many more expensive industry options that don’t have the same cool aesthetic nor the high level of personalized service). I have yet to experience a single issue and have no doubt that Hank and co wouldn’t stand behind the products should they fail. The Cables look and sound great and hold up to gigging, practicing and session work. I have even done special requests and he’s been more than accommodating. The way he packages everything, seems to keep track of his customers, and makes you feel thanked and part of the family is a huge selling point to me. I received them within days of ordering them and could not believe the difference they made at home let alone at church. I was so happy with them I ordered some of the flex cables for my guitar board and regular patch cables to use with my bass rig and man did it make a difference! I've used quality cables for 40 years and none of them come close to the sound quality that you get from rattlesnake. The line buffer made a difference too!
