The wrap of the instrument cables is aptly named Rattlesnake, since it has the texture and durability you would expect from a reptile living in the desert - super tough. The patch cables are what you hope for, with solid connectors, and flexible cabling, pretty much bombproof, in my opinion.

When I converted the entire, signal chain of my guitar, ('54 epiphone, devon, played through '65 bandmaster), to Rattlesnake cables, I had to turn down! I not shitting you. The signal, was so much more efficient, I needed to bump down a bit. Plus, with the shielding on the cable, can handle all the abuse a gigging musician can throw at it. Beer - cowboy boot, heels - carelessly coiling it up, drunk, at 2 a.m. They're great! And they look great too. I've had mine for years - as have, all of my band mates - and they're flawless.

My only ahaa observation is that I should have bought snake head configurations. The plastic rubber coating extending though the guitar straps give the weave longevity.
