I've tried to be careful when purchasing instrument cables. Finding a cable that is durable, non-clumsy, and eye-catching has been a decade-long quest. I've worn out cables from DiMarzio, Fender, Vox, and Klos much sooner than expected. And only one of those companies offers a legitimately Hot Pink cable, that could be considered professional grade. However, once I'd received my first order from Rattlesnake Cable Company, I realized I'd found what I'd been looking for all along. These cables are beyond professional grade. These are industrial grade products by every definition. These cables are over-engineered for durability and functionality. These are the cables I want to use when I'm on stage, when I don't need to be worried about a cable failing or tangling under my feet. Rattlesnake Cables don't tangle like rubberized or cloth-woven cables do. The woven protective sheath over the Rattlesnake cables is rigid, flexible, and yet non-binding as well. When the cables DO get into a tangle, they glide over each other and back out of the knot much easier than cloth or rubber. Additionally, Rattlesnake's splitters, pedals, and junction boxes are over-engineered for infallibility. I could have never have trusted the plastic Rick-O-Sound splitter and flimsy TRS cable that were included with my guitar if I used them on stage. I can, however, trust the thick metal splitter and Rattlesnake TRS (stereo) cable I purchased for myself for Christmas this year. I won't worry about them shorting out in the middle of a set. It didn't hurt that these are made in the state where I grew up. Always good to see quality music equipment coming out of Big Sky Country.

TRS to Dual Mono Splitter. While I'm a guitarist I also play bass. I have a Rickenbacker 4003 and didn't have much success with a Y cable for the Ric-o-sound. The Rattlesnake TRS Splitter is an excellent solution. I also purchased the TRS stereo instrument cable needed for ric-o-sound. I have built my own instrument cables and purchased many cables from different manufactures over the decades. I have never seen anything like the Rattlesnake instrument cable. It's built like a tank, solid construction. No loosening on the ends and the cable will last for decades if not centuries. All future cables will be Rattlesnake

The major companies were saying using a Y cable but all they offered were 3 feet long cables or weird adapters. I ended up stumbling upon Rattlesnake and I read an article from them talking about how to use it and what gear is needed, with links provided to see what the gear looks like! I ordered my products in 2 ordered because I realized I needed a TRS cable after ordering the splitter. Everywhere else had short cables and Rattlesnake was the only one I could find to offer 20ft length. So I ordered it on a separate order. I got a call later that day and the person I spoke to said there was a Halloween discount starting the day, after speaking they gave me the discount and merged my order to get her to save on shipping. In total they saved me $30, they offered to give a refund, gift card, or 4 6”cables. I chose the cable, being $10 each I ended up getting one of the patch cables free. And coming from Montana to Ohio it took no time for it to come in. And they added free sticker and a notepad! I definitely am pleased with the experience and will recommend and be a returning customer!

The order experience was great. My order showed up quickly. When I opened the box I saw the instrument cables were a nice reusable cloth bag. I got the rattlesnake weave and they look awesome. I tried using the cables out and they feel like a really high quality cable They're nice a flexible but it looks like the ends will last. Plugged it in and there's no obvious hums of any kind. I live in a pretty old house with old electrical, and every weak link in the chain magnifies an issue pretty easily. Even my Mogami cable has more hum than this. The guitars and amps I tried all sounded great. No complaints based on this first impression. Would definitely buy more.

I just got the cable, and it works. Honestly, I haven't had a chance yet to put it through it's paces or compare it to my Mogami or Vox or planet waves cables, so bear that in mind. First of all, the whole experience in buying and receiving feels like a boutique cable (b/c it is). Pick your length, you connector types, your colors, etc. I opted for a 15' TRS Copper, non-"snake head" cable. The cable comes in a box in a cloth bag like you might find with high-end dress shoes, stickers, a velcro cable wrap, etc. It's just so well put together and packaged - completely unlike buying your typical Planet Waves or George L or Lava Cables. The Rattlesnake cables seems to be almost the same as Caulfield Cable's Tour Series in terms of construction, capacitance (the Rattlesnakes have better capacitance than the Caufield Standard Series), flexibility, etc. Even without the 20% discount that you can regularly get, the Rattlesnakes are significantly less expensive, AND have better plugs. And there are the regular sales for different colors, even colors that you don't normally see on their site. It's a win-win! I bought this on a whim, basically. I found a blog article. Then I read up on the cable quality on TheGearPage (all glowing reviews). I compared to Caulfield Cables. Rattlesnake wins, easily. Half the price of Lava, better than Planet Waves, cheaper than the equivalent Caufield. These will be my standard go-to instrument, speaker, etc. cables from now on. And if they start making the MIDI cable variants that Caufield does, I'll switch to those too.
