Pedal Line Friday :: Kyle M.

Kyle M.

Heyo!

Thought I would send over a little pedal board breakdown

This is a wet/dry rig that starts with an Ernie Ball volume pedal and Boss TU-3 tuner.  From there a Keeley Noble Screamer (ODR-1/Tube Screamer clone set to the ODR-1 setting) lays on overdrive before going into the Boss GE-7 EQ pedal where you can sculpt the tone before the Morley Buffer/Boost provides a little added juice.  The signal then goes into a Rattlesnake ABY pedal with one channel going into a 1966 Fender Bassman for the dry sound, and the other channel adding the wet effects.  The MXR Phase 95, Strymon Lex (rotary pedal) and Strymon El Cap then feed into a 1965 Fender Pro Reverb.  Rattlesnake patch cables connect the pedals, and everything is powered by a Lekato power supply.  Thanks for checking it out!

Submit Your Pedal Line!

About a million years ago, I used to run a blog called EffectsBay. On that blog, the most popular feature I would run was Pedal Line Friday. This is where readers of the site would send pics of their pedalboard and a short (sometimes long) write-up of routing and thoughts about specific pedals and the reasoning why they liked it, etc. Readers. loved this. It was a great way to learn about new applications or techniques regarding pedals. It also brought a little inspiration and knowledge about pedals you were not familiar with. It also brought a great sense of community - people like sharing and absorbing cool things, right? It was a super popular feature, and I loved putting them together.

All you have to do is send a pic of your pedalboard (or pedal line - it doesn't have to be on a board) along with a short (or long) write-up of the board. We want a list of pedals (manufacturer/model), routing would be great, and, most importantly, why you use those particular pedals. Also, this is a great way to promote your band or musical project - include that information as well!

You can send the pic and the write-up to pedalline@rattlesnakecables.com.

Best cable I have ever owned - and that goes back 50 years. Excellent customer service. Beautiful product and build. I'm not making a dime to say this either.

Absolutely the BEST service I have ever seen in a musical equipment company. If I could give 6 stars I would! I have ordered a total of 8 cable looms from these guys, and the quality of the products I received from Rattlesnake Cable exceeded my expectations in every way. Super quiet cables with quality construction and pro connectors. I submitted a request for a cable loom that was somewhat complicated, and next thing I know I get a call from Hank at Rattlesnake giving me advice on a better way to design and build the cable. Brilliant! Once I got his advice, it became obvious that he knew what he was doing. The new design was a huge improvement and met my needs perfectly. How great is that??? The shipping was so fast. They built my looms and shipped them in record time. I don't normally leave reviews like this, but these guys totally deserve it. Don't waste your money and time with anyone else. Seriously. Just order from Rattlesnake and relax. It will be done right the first time and will exceed expectations.
