About a million years ago, I used to run a blog called EffectsBay. On that blog, the most popular feature I would run was Pedal Line Friday. This is where readers of the site would send pics of their pedalboard and a short (sometimes long) write-up of routing and thoughts about specific pedals and the reasoning why they liked it, etc. Readers. loved this. It was a great way to learn about new applications or techniques regarding pedals. It also brought a little inspiration and knowledge about pedals you were not familiar with. It also brought a great sense of community - people like sharing and absorbing cool things, right? It was a super popular feature, and I loved putting them together.
All you have to do is send a pic of your pedalboard (or pedal line - it doesn't have to be on a board) along with a short (or long) write-up of the board. We want a list of pedals (manufacturer/model), routing would be great, and, most importantly, why you use those particular pedals. Also, this is a great way to promote your band or musical project - include that information as well!

Fastest, most bestest, and and considerate cable maker in the USA!! I ordered a mic cable. (Already own 3 rattlesnake guitar cables) and on my order I wanted the end that plugs into the microphone black, and the end silver. (Our singer is easily confused) Hank emailed me to make sure this wasnât a mistake. As soon as I told him that my order with miss matched ends was correct. I used to build my own custom cables so I know the amount of love that goes into each wiring. I have since purchased and used every known high end cable manufacturer on the market always chasing the best and most accurate possible signal for my guitar rig. I have tested them under the most rigorous performance standards, studio and live. When I first felt the thickness, quality and flexibility of the four channel loom I purchased I was impressed. When I jacked it into my rig I was totally blown away. It not only equaled my current cabling but actually surpassed it with a clarity I had not yet heard before. The fact that I was able to tell a difference even with my current set of patch and instrument cables is beyond impressive in my opinion. I am totally sold on this company for the rest of my cabling needs. I also love and appreciate the amazing personal touch which is missing in todays world of fast paced, impersonal corporate grab. AB COMPARISON/OBSERVATION Asterope 10â studio gold and Rattlesnake 15â gold - Asterope has slight more high end clarity⌠Rattlesnake has slight more midrange bump. In live setting rattlesnake for sure. Studio recording session trade off contingent on type of music being tracked. I will be purchasing all of my cables from here from now on. Top quality construction, fast service, great customer support. You couldnât ask for more from a cable company! And, there is definitely an improvement in tone when using the Rattlesnake cables. If youâre on the fence about it keep in mind the cables are far more sturdy than any others youâll find and theyâre priced actually less than the other high quality cables. You wonât be disappointed and if by some slight chance you are, Hank and the team at Rattlesnake will make it right.
