READ ANOTHER TESTIMONIAL
Hank and Team,
Here is my pedal board(s). I am just a guitar hobbyist who enjoys messing with tones. I enjoy playing all sorts of music from classic rock, metal, and punk. I am a big Tom Delonge fan and have a lot of pedals to chase his tone.
Bottom row (right to left)
ISP's G String Decimator II: noise gate for when I play higher gain metal. I can run both the effects loop and the front of the amp through this pedal so that it knows exactly where to apply the noise gate. So you'll see this pedal in both routing lists.
Boss's SD-1: just a classic overdrive for some great rock tones.
Utility Belt FX's The Mutt: My favorite pedal, it's a boutique brand, and mimics the two amps the Tom Delonge would use to get that classic Blink-182 sound.
MXR's Phase 95: a sweet phaser for when I want to play more "spacey" and Angels and Airwaves type songs. Depending on the mood I'll use the flanger instead of the phaser.
Middle row (right to left)
EX's 7-Band Equalizer: just a budget friendly 7-band eq pedal that's small. I use this to lower or upper the mids depending on what I'm after
Keeley's Compressor: just a super sick compressor for when I want sustain or tighter sounds.
DIY "Klon" clone: I like tinkering with things and built my own Klon style pedal from a kit online. This is used when I want that sizzle with a good treble.
ProCo's lil Rat: just another super cool distortion pedal that lets me hit different rock tones.
Electro-Harmonix's nano Big Muff: A compact fuzz with a killer sound!
Top row (right to left)
MXR's EVH Flanger: a cool sound when I'd rather have a flanger instead of the phaser. Similar in sound but different.
Boss's CH-1: a cool chorus pedal that lets me visit the 80s.
Boss's DD-3T: a digital delay pedal with a tap tempo. A must for cool dotted eight note songs for Angels and Airwaves and U2.
Boss's RV-6: An all around good reverb pedal for creating awesome depth.
Boss's RC-1: a cool loop pedal so I can play some layered riffs.

About a million years ago, I used to run a blog called EffectsBay. On that blog, the most popular feature I would run was Pedal Line Friday. This is where readers of the site would send pics of their pedalboard and a short (sometimes long) write-up of routing and thoughts about specific pedals and the reasoning why they liked it, etc. Readers. loved this. It was a great way to learn about new applications or techniques regarding pedals. It also brought a little inspiration and knowledge about pedals you were not familiar with. It also brought a great sense of community - people like sharing and absorbing cool things, right? It was a super popular feature, and I loved putting them together.
All you have to do is send a pic of your pedalboard (or pedal line - it doesn't have to be on a board) along with a short (or long) write-up of the board. We want a list of pedals (manufacturer/model), routing would be great, and, most importantly, why you use those particular pedals. Also, this is a great way to promote your band or musical project - include that information as well!
You can send the pic and the write-up to pedalline@rattlesnakecables.com.
