Pedal Line Friday :: Larry R.

Larry R.

Routing :

We have a Studio 454 Fuzzrite rehoused in a box painted by Tucker from "LampElectricfx"- RIP.

From there it goes to the MXR Deep Phase for some faux Vibe action.

This then hits a Rockett Animal for some added Marshall crunch.

This next goes to an old Ibanez CSL Chorus , rehoused by Marcus Young Pedals for a leslie type tone.

Next an analog delay for slapback. This is a Jacques Prisoner delay, again rehoused by Marcus Young pedals.

Dropping down to a Lovepedal Les Lius for my Keef Kontent tunes, set on the master volume Tchula setting.

Traveling through the Boss TU3, we come to another secret sauce box painted again by "LampElectricfx" -RIP.

This was reconfigured by Colton over at X23. It is a Deep Blue Delay into a PT2399 reverb circuit into a Schaller clone tremolo circuit from Anvil FX.

Coming to the end we have finally , a ZVex Distortron which serves multi functions. Either as a pre-amp when volume is a concern, or as another Marshall tone enhancer depending on the tunes being performed.

All cabling courtesy of Rattlesnake.

Submit Your Pedal Line!

About a million years ago, I used to run a blog called EffectsBay. On that blog, the most popular feature I would run was Pedal Line Friday. This is where readers of the site would send pics of their pedalboard and a short (sometimes long) write-up of routing and thoughts about specific pedals and the reasoning why they liked it, etc. Readers. loved this. It was a great way to learn about new applications or techniques regarding pedals. It also brought a little inspiration and knowledge about pedals you were not familiar with. It also brought a great sense of community - people like sharing and absorbing cool things, right? It was a super popular feature, and I loved putting them together.

All you have to do is send a pic of your pedalboard (or pedal line - it doesn't have to be on a board) along with a short (or long) write-up of the board. We want a list of pedals (manufacturer/model), routing would be great, and, most importantly, why you use those particular pedals. Also, this is a great way to promote your band or musical project - include that information as well!

You can send the pic and the write-up to pedalline@rattlesnakecables.com.

Absolutely the BEST service I have ever seen in a musical equipment company. If I could give 6 stars I would! Absolutely the BEST service I have ever seen in a musical equipment company. If I could give 6 stars I would! I have ordered a total of 8 cable looms from these guys, and the quality of the products I received from Rattlesnake Cable exceeded my expectations in every way. Super quiet cables with quality construction and pro connectors. I submitted a request for a cable loom that was somewhat complicated, and next thing I know I get a call from Hank at Rattlesnake giving me advice on a better way to design and build the cable. Brilliant! Once I got his advice, it became obvious that he knew what he was doing. The new design was a huge improvement and met my needs perfectly. How great is that??? The shipping was so fast. They built my looms and shipped them in record time. I don't normally leave reviews like this, but these guys totally deserve it. Don't waste your money and time with anyone else. Seriously. Just order from Rattlesnake and relax. It will be done right the first time and will exceed expectations.
