I’m Joey from the bands Honey Hush and The Normandys. I’m a Rattlesnake Cables artist and this is my pedalboard.
I mostly play Les Paul Juniors, that go into the Dunlop Daredevil Fuzz Wah, it’s just a killer sounding wah on its own, turning the fuzz on takes it to a whole new level!
That goes into a Peterson strobostomp tuner, I love the accuracy of these.
From there it goes Bowman Audio Endeavors OD, MXR script phase 90, Greer Lightspeed. The Bowman is a klon klone made by James Bowman from the bad Against Me, I use it as a clean(ish) boost.
The phase 90 is a classic, I like it before overdrive and use it on slower parts and the more honky tonk songs.
Greer Lightspeed is an awesome low gain overdrive that I can leave on all the time, it sounds great being pushed by the bowman.
After those I go into a green big muffin and a micro amp. I’ve tried several fuzzes and keep going back to this one because it sounds great after overdrive and boost pedals, that way if i feel like turning the fuzz on at some point I don’t have to turn everything else off, it always sounds good, which is not the case for a lot of other fuzzes.
Micro amp is mainly used if I’m playing a tele, just to bring it up to match the level of a p90, also if I feel the need to be louder or more obnoxious.
Then i go into the Strymon El Capistan for some delay and a Strymon Flint which I mainly use for the tremolo, but sometimes I leave the reverb on low in the mix.
Then I go into my Satellite amps…always with Rattlesnake Cables!

About a million years ago, I used to run a blog called EffectsBay. On that blog, the most popular feature I would run was Pedal Line Friday. This is where readers of the site would send pics of their pedalboard and a short (sometimes long) write-up of routing and thoughts about specific pedals and the reasoning why they liked it, etc. Readers. loved this. It was a great way to learn about new applications or techniques regarding pedals. It also brought a little inspiration and knowledge about pedals you were not familiar with. It also brought a great sense of community - people like sharing and absorbing cool things, right? It was a super popular feature, and I loved putting them together.
All you have to do is send a pic of your pedalboard (or pedal line - it doesn't have to be on a board) along with a short (or long) write-up of the board. We want a list of pedals (manufacturer/model), routing would be great, and, most importantly, why you use those particular pedals. Also, this is a great way to promote your band or musical project - include that information as well!
You can send the pic and the write-up to pedalline@rattlesnakecables.com.
