READ ANOTHER TESTIMONIAL
Well, itโs more of a pedal tower.
Top Board - The Amp Effects Loop, mostly time-based effects.

Middle Board - Front of Amp pedals, 8 individual loops

Bottom Board - Front of Foot, these get stepped on; the board comes off and stretches across the room. This has the ES-8 loop switch and a MorningStar MIDI controller (for the Top Board control). Plus a few things before the loops and a few things after, which sit in this board too.

Each tier lifts like a hood, with all the power supplies and midi boxes under the boards.

I found that most of my pedals didnโt need to be touched after being set, so using loops and midi I can turn on/ off and switch presets and loop to combine for a given tone. So went with a master /slave board setup.
Each tier also has storage on the right side (flip lid) for patch cords, dual-lock rolls, and related stuff.

Pictures of the whole thing (empty and full), each board, and a little under-the-cover stuff.

(Iโm in the process of putting it all back together as I had to take the boards off to save it during the flooding here in FL during the hurricanes.) It actually has more pedals going on and a big SurfyBear that sits in front of the coils spring reverb in the Amp effect loop.
But these were the best pics I had from pre-flood.
Figured this will bring a few smiles and a few โbut whyโsโโฆ.
Definitely a situation of way more gear than skill, but when I retire in a year, I get to dig in and really fine-tune the loops and build a billion presets for all the Chase Bliss stuffโฆ
About a million years ago, I used to run a blog called EffectsBay. On that blog, the most popular feature I would run was Pedal Line Friday. This is where readers of the site would send pics of their pedalboard and a short (sometimes long) write-up of routing and thoughts about specific pedals and the reasoning why they liked it, etc. Readers. loved this. It was a great way to learn about new applications or techniques regarding pedals. It also brought a little inspiration and knowledge about pedals you were not familiar with. It also brought a great sense of community - people like sharing and absorbing cool things, right? It was a super popular feature, and I loved putting them together.
All you have to do is send a pic of your pedalboard (or pedal line - it doesn't have to be on a board) along with a short (or long) write-up of the board. We want a list of pedals (manufacturer/model), routing would be great, and, most importantly, why you use those particular pedals. Also, this is a great way to promote your band or musical project - include that information as well!
You can send the pic and the write-up to pedalline@rattlesnakecables.com.
