READ ANOTHER TESTIMONIAL
Hey, Rattlesnake world!
This is my main board. It has gone through many changes over time but this is my current setup and I love it! This is the first time I've been really happy with the overall tones I'm getting and the routing I'm using. The chain is: Behringer Tuner, Behringer Compressor, Strymon Timeline, TC Electronic Mojo Mojo (for tweedy type of breakup), Boss Blues Driver (usually for a British kind of breakup and also a little compression), Line 6 HX One, Keeley Caverns (for more atmospheric stuff), Boss IR-200.
Some interesting points- I have the Timeline straight into the drive section. I use the TL for slap back delay, to thicken things up, and for a divided time rhythmic delay. I also like the way the delays interact with the drive pedals. I have the drives going into the HX One but they are not in the loop (drives go through direct out, into the IR-200). I use the HX for modulation effects and I have that routed into the IR-200 effects loop along with the Caverns. The Blues Driver is always on the board, but I switch the Mojo out with either a Boss Super Overdrive or a Behringer Tube Overdrive (TS Clone) depending on the set.
Guitars are usually a Tele or a Strat, or the occasional LP or other humbucker equipped guitar. It depends on the set.
I'm a guitar nerd and I'm not mad about it! I have been playing guitar for around 30 years. I've been in a few rock bands over the years but my main "gig" is lead guitarist at my church, Christ Covenant Church/Houston, TX, where I've been for around 17 years.

About a million years ago, I used to run a blog called EffectsBay. On that blog, the most popular feature I would run was Pedal Line Friday. This is where readers of the site would send pics of their pedalboard and a short (sometimes long) write-up of routing and thoughts about specific pedals and the reasoning why they liked it, etc. Readers. loved this. It was a great way to learn about new applications or techniques regarding pedals. It also brought a little inspiration and knowledge about pedals you were not familiar with. It also brought a great sense of community - people like sharing and absorbing cool things, right? It was a super popular feature, and I loved putting them together.
All you have to do is send a pic of your pedalboard (or pedal line - it doesn't have to be on a board) along with a short (or long) write-up of the board. We want a list of pedals (manufacturer/model), routing would be great, and, most importantly, why you use those particular pedals. Also, this is a great way to promote your band or musical project - include that information as well!
You can send the pic and the write-up to pedalline@rattlesnakecables.com.
