READ ANOTHER TESTIMONIAL
Mostly a bedroom player, did some church groups and garage stuff back in the day. I'm always looking for used pedals locally, but every once in awhile I'll splurge for something I really dig... this is one of two setups I use, this being the big guy.
The small setup is the Boss tuner and the PG-14 straight into the 5150 Icon combo amp.
Current setup is the Temple Audio Duo 24. I really dig the non Velcro setup. Power supply is a MXR M238 IsoBrick 10.
Patch cables are Rattlesnake or EB's, long cables are all Rattlesnake with one Pignose (sorry Hank). Pedals, in order....and I'll preface by saying I swapped out a lot of knobs, because, why not...
Boss Waza Tuner, one of the splurges. I have a weird thing about being in tune and can't tune by ear to save my life, this thing is awesome. Ditch the cheap headstock tuners and just buy this one.
JHS Notaklรถn, jumped in on an early batch. Built it up, then had my daughter paint it for me. Obviously, my favorite pedal.
JHS PG-14....bought as a B Stock, on sale, steal of a price. This has got to be THE MOST BADASS PEDAL EVER!!! What a sleeper, read the reviews, watch the vids, super underrated pedal. Go buy one now!
JHS 3 in 1 Morning Glory, Angry Charlie and Bonsai. A lot going on in this guy...but it's pretty killer. It'll thicken anything you have.
Patch then goes up to the Boss Tremolo. I got turned on to Johnny Marr a few years ago and went a bit crazy with the Trem pedals, had about eight of them, the Boss stayed on the board.
Boss Waza Chorus, my first Waza, my first Chorus, full price, cause why not. It's more Chorus than I'll ever need. The three settings are pretty killer.
Bose Acoustic Simulator, because sometimes you need to slow it down and bring out the BIC. Thing was a steal in price, couldn't pass it up.
JHS Reverb, another local steal. I think it was $30 cash and it's a JHS. Their white line is a great value. Josh has a great vid on setting up the five white pedals.
JHS Prestige Buffer, it makes stuff louder which I think is what it's supposed to do.
Last but not least, is the requisit Altoids can for my EVH and Dunlop super thick pics.
ROCK ON RATTLESNAKE!!

About a million years ago, I used to run a blog called EffectsBay. On that blog, the most popular feature I would run was Pedal Line Friday. This is where readers of the site would send pics of their pedalboard and a short (sometimes long) write-up of routing and thoughts about specific pedals and the reasoning why they liked it, etc. Readers. loved this. It was a great way to learn about new applications or techniques regarding pedals. It also brought a little inspiration and knowledge about pedals you were not familiar with. It also brought a great sense of community - people like sharing and absorbing cool things, right? It was a super popular feature, and I loved putting them together.
All you have to do is send a pic of your pedalboard (or pedal line - it doesn't have to be on a board) along with a short (or long) write-up of the board. We want a list of pedals (manufacturer/model), routing would be great, and, most importantly, why you use those particular pedals. Also, this is a great way to promote your band or musical project - include that information as well!
You can send the pic and the write-up to pedalline@rattlesnakecables.com.
