I am working on an instrumental ambient / atmospheric post-metal project called Sandstone. I am mainly a guitar player and also play bass and drums.
Amp used is a Hughes & Kettner triumph MKII with a 4x12 Marshall 1960 Lead cabinet. The signal path from the volume pedal to board 1 which is my always on / utility board: Meris Hedra -> EQD Warden compressor -> EQD Dispatch Master set as reverb -> EQD Ghost Echo reverb -> EQD Sea Machine chorus -> EQD Swiss Things.
Loop 1 (unbuffered) From Swiss Things: Intensive Care Audio Life Support overdrive -> EQD Westwood overdrive then back to Swiss Things Loop 2 (buffered) from Swiss Things: EQD Afterneath Reverb -> EQD The Depth Wobble -> Keeley Hydra (incactive) -> KMA Astrospurt Phaser -> OBNE Minim Reverse Delay / Reverb -> EQD Avalanche Run -> Strymon Nightsky -> Strymon Cloudburst for a string ensemble effect -> strymon El Capistan Delay -> Meris Polymoon -> Meris Mercury7 for the shimmer and Strymon - Blue Sky Reverb then back to Swiss Things, then out to Ditto looper then out to the amp.
With Ditto, i pretty much set 2 to 3 voice guitars then jump on my drums and work on the songs.
The boards are powered by Strymon Zuma and Ojay

About a million years ago, I used to run a blog called EffectsBay. On that blog, the most popular feature I would run was Pedal Line Friday. This is where readers of the site would send pics of their pedalboard and a short (sometimes long) write-up of routing and thoughts about specific pedals and the reasoning why they liked it, etc. Readers. loved this. It was a great way to learn about new applications or techniques regarding pedals. It also brought a little inspiration and knowledge about pedals you were not familiar with. It also brought a great sense of community - people like sharing and absorbing cool things, right? It was a super popular feature, and I loved putting them together.
All you have to do is send a pic of your pedalboard (or pedal line - it doesn't have to be on a board) along with a short (or long) write-up of the board. We want a list of pedals (manufacturer/model), routing would be great, and, most importantly, why you use those particular pedals. Also, this is a great way to promote your band or musical project - include that information as well!

A friend bought me a rattlesnake cable for Christmas. I would never have thought to spend that kind of money on a cable for myself, but the quality is so good, I can’t have just one! I use rattlesnake cables for all my gigs now - they are my go-to.

Everything I've gotten from Rattlesnake has been unmatched in quality. I use a lot of cables in my setup, and switching everything out with the ones I got from Hank and here at Rattlesnake, I could hear the difference from the first note I played. I use heavy distortion, and I can get so much of a cleaner, more concise full grit distortion tone with these. It really does make a huge difference, and, the extra high end from the low capacitance is really welcome. Not to mention, I had a TON of questions. I order two custom looms in sets of three, and they answered all my questions and have been more than accommodating in every way possible. Response times were so quick too, and the vibes were great. I most definitely will be a longtime customer to Rattlesnake.
