Pedal Line Friday :: Dr. Dave

Dr. Dave

Hello, here is a picture of me (Dr. Dave Harms) lead guitarist/ singer/ songwriter of Tinfoil (trademarked).

First I have Game Changer Audio's Bigsby Pedal to get vibrato on my Kiesel and get that Gretsch vibrato on some of our slow songs, 2nd I have the Maverick wha which is small and switchless (I prefer my George Lynch but it is too big for this small club board), next I have the Klon clone from Sweetwater held in the archer case, next it goes through Caitlenbreeds Sabbra Caddabra (my other board uses a RAH for a lead boost), next it goes to the hush Rocktron gate, followed by the Swimteam by mojo hand effects, followed by the UA starlight and last a ditto. This board is built for small shows to go with my Spark 2 amp. I also have a big board that goes with my Blackmore Engle's and a quad cortex board.

By the way, I love the cable you made me, it goes with my Parker Fly which allows a distorted amp for the pickups and an acoustic amp for the piezo. I also use it with my Rick o Sound 80's Rick bass.

Submit Your Pedal Line!

About a million years ago, I used to run a blog called EffectsBay. On that blog, the most popular feature I would run was Pedal Line Friday. This is where readers of the site would send pics of their pedalboard and a short (sometimes long) write-up of routing and thoughts about specific pedals and the reasoning why they liked it, etc. Readers. loved this. It was a great way to learn about new applications or techniques regarding pedals. It also brought a little inspiration and knowledge about pedals you were not familiar with. It also brought a great sense of community - people like sharing and absorbing cool things, right? It was a super popular feature, and I loved putting them together.

All you have to do is send a pic of your pedalboard (or pedal line - it doesn't have to be on a board) along with a short (or long) write-up of the board. We want a list of pedals (manufacturer/model), routing would be great, and, most importantly, why you use those particular pedals. Also, this is a great way to promote your band or musical project - include that information as well!

You can send the pic and the write-up to pedalline@rattlesnakecables.com.

Top quality equipment with off the charts customer service....and MADE IN THE USA. My snake patterned cables are just ridiculously cool, are made well, and sound great. The junction boxes keep the sound clean and are built solidly. My order came with the cables each in a really nice bag, and the... Read

Big fan of the cables, especially the Snake Head feature. Great quality and great service, cables seem built for a lifetime of use. I have bought several times and the service is always great and consistent.

I have purchased several Rattlesnake brand cables in various configurations over the past couple of years. I have used other top brands in the past and I can honestly say that these cables are the best in quality, durability and sound. Yes, a high quality cable can improve the sound of your... Read

Top quality equipment with off the charts customer service....and MADE IN THE USA. My snake patterned cables are just ridiculously cool, are made well, and sound great. The junction boxes keep the sound clean and are built solidly. My order came with the cables each in a really nice bag, and the junction boxes in very nice boxes. Rattlesnake is first rate all around, and those extra touches really set them apart. Hank, the owner, is perhaps the most responsive person I've ever dealt with. He is extremely helpful with questions (as I had related to pedal board setup, etc) and makes you feel like he drops anything he's doing to instantly answer your emails. If I could give them 6 stars I would. Thanks Hank!

Give these a try, you won't be disappointed. Thanks to Hank and all the folks at Rattlesnake Cable Co. for providing us with great stuff:)
