This pedalboard is for my Korg rk100s keytar. I like the Cry Baby wah in the front, always on, because it bleeds really well into the ProCo Rat Distortion pedal (which I typically keep on fuzz). Then, using the Joyo Vision mod pedal next allows me to mix in these really wild tones from my keyboard. Also, if I want more "dirt” there is a fuzz setting on the mod pedal that is really filthy when paired with the Rat. Next is the Joyo Aquarius Delay, which gives me some amazing textures when I play lead-lines. Finally, the Joyo Atmosphere reverb helps me when I want to create lush palates that take me to the far reaches of galaxies known and unknown.
My analog Yamaha mixer into my Peavey KB-100 amp brings a huge punch to the overall sound. I tweak the pedals depending upon the sound I am using on my keytar, but the marriage of the analog to the digital really helps me to birth sonic cosmic urban jazz babies every time I flick the power button.

About a million years ago, I used to run a blog called EffectsBay. On that blog, the most popular feature I would run was Pedal Line Friday. This is where readers of the site would send pics of their pedalboard and a short (sometimes long) write-up of routing and thoughts about specific pedals and the reasoning why they liked it, etc. Readers. loved this. It was a great way to learn about new applications or techniques regarding pedals. It also brought a little inspiration and knowledge about pedals you were not familiar with. It also brought a great sense of community - people like sharing and absorbing cool things, right? It was a super popular feature, and I loved putting them together.
All you have to do is send a pic of your pedalboard (or pedal line - it doesn't have to be on a board) along with a short (or long) write-up of the board. We want a list of pedals (manufacturer/model), routing would be great, and, most importantly, why you use those particular pedals. Also, this is a great way to promote your band or musical project - include that information as well!

Available in nearly any configuration imaginable and the available weaves are gorgeous, not to mention bullet proof. The cherry on top is the customer service. Well, let me tell you.... I messaged Hank at Rattle Snake Cables after finding their product on a Sunday night around 9PM in California, totally did not expect a reply. Hank was there and answered all my questions, I was interested in some cables that had previously been offered in special color weave options. Turns out Hank had some more of each of the materials I was looking for and made me up a custom URL to the shopping cart to make it happen. Not only that but he offered me the special pricing that they had offered when they previously ran those colors. The next morning I received a personalized video message from hank telling me that my cables were on the work bench and were the first project for the day. 2 and a half days later the box arrived at my door. WOW the fit and finish of the packing before I even got the cables out of their bags. Unreal, next level and whatever else you want to call it. And then I got the cables out of the bags, the build quality is second to none, I was extremely impressed and right away went to tell a few other guitar playing friends about them and my experience. Not only do they look better than any of my cables, I am pretty sure they sound better, and if not they make me feel better hahaha so that alone is worth it. Now that I have found these cables, I know exactly who I am going to use when I finally figure out my pedal board and am ready for patch cables. I couldn’t recommend hank and the team at Rattle Snake Cables more and have told all my friends near and far that play about them.

I reached out to Hank and team to see if they had any purple weave available and I had a cable in the mail later that day! I plan on buying only Rattlesnake Cables from here on out.
