IEC Power Cable

We are now offering IEC power cables! We are using the Best-Tronics 3-conductor 14AWG SJTOW power cable for these builds. These are extremely beefy cables carrying three thick conductors. We use Schurter IEC plugs for the IEC connection, and Male Edison Qualtex plugs for the outlet. Depending on your requirements, these can be wrapped in polyweave or no-weave. Is it time to upgrade your IEC cable for the amp or pedalboard?

I found my first Rattlesnake instrument cable at a small shop in Orange County, Ca while visiting the area. I was impressed with the build quality and look. I opted for the copper weave. When I got home I showed it to another guitar player friend of mine and he immediately ordered a couple of his own. After several months of using it, I decided to order an XLR in copper to match. Ordering was easy on the website and I was informed each step with a confirmation, build, and shipping. When it arrived I was surprised to see an instrument cable as well. Then I saw the hand written "Thank you" note also stating that I won the daily giveaway! Amazing! Thank you for these great cables that I know I can rely on again and again!

Rattlesnake cables are by far the best cable I have ever tried at any price. The signal is clear and I can detect no difference in tone regardless of length. The plugs seem indestructible, and even the right angle ends work with a recessed Tele jack. I will not that they are stiff, due to the outer covering, but I prefer that to worrying about pinching or cutting a cable. And with the optional "snakehead" version, where the covering ends about a foot before one plug, you need not worry about the covering harming the finish on your guitar. And dealing wiht them trough their web site is a very positive experience. They also offer a nice variety of colors. I currently have 4 of their cables -- Three 15 footers and a 10 footer -- but once I upgrade my rig with another a/b switch I'll be ordering more. Just a great small company with an excellent product line.
