If you're looking for the best speaker cable for your guitar amp, or looking for a bass amp speaker cable, look no further! Our heavy-duty cables are manufactured and milled here in the United States and hand soldered in Missoula, Montana!

Our speaker cables use a pair of 12AWG Bare Copper conductors, ensuring great flow to the cabinets. These are the definition of beefy and burly! We terminate these cables with our Switchcraft 188 Jumbo Straight Nickel Plugs, and for you bass players out there, we also offer Neutrik SpeakOn connectors.

No, our cables are not directional. If you're purchasing a Snake Head, the Snake Head portion should be on the instrument side, but that only is cosmetic. The cable will work fine if plugged in any direction.

We have a variety of wire mills that we work with. All of the wire mills we work with our in the United States. We take extreme pride that our cable is milled in the United States and hand assembled here in Missoula, Montana.

You technically can, but speaker cable is un-shielded. It can be extremely noisy if used as an instrument cable. I would not recommend it.

You should never do this. Instrument cables use a very low amount of voltage on a thin conductor (20AWG). Our speaker cables use a pair of 12AWG conductors to safely conduct the higher voltage to your speaker cabinet.

The nature of how signal is transported in a speaker cable is different than instrument cables. Cable capacitance is not an issue.

The weave is a poly-weave, meaning it's a plastic polymer-based weave. We use a variety of brands, but primarily TechFlex. It's designed to be heat and abrasion resistant. It is not a cloth/fabric weave, which tends to fray and stain easily.

After being chided about my cheap a** cables and the buzz they caused from time to time a band member loaned me one of his spare RATTLESNAKE cables. The buzz was eliminated at once. SO, what did I do? Borrowed his cable until I could get my own RATTLESNAKE cables. I ordered a couple of snakehead cables, a couple of 3’ non-covered cables, a pick tin and a cool t-shirt. Now my bass sound is clean as a whistle, I look good in my new practice t-shirt AND (not using guitar picks) I have a new container for toothPICKS. How cool is that.
