Our XLR cable uses our dual conductor cable milled in the United States. All XLRs use Neutrik Pro-Grade Nickel or Black Shells and are available with weave or no-weave if preferred. Rattlesnake Cable Company XLR cables are great for studio applications and live stages. Weaving allows for a great opportunity to color-code cables and adds additional protection. We have a variety of wire mills that we work with. All of the wire mills we work with our in the United States. We take extreme pride that our cable is milled in the United States and hand assembled here in Missoula, Montana.

No. The contacts are the same for either style of Neutrik plugs. This is strictly a cosmetic preference. There is a higher purchase cost for us on the black.

Absolutely, just fill out a custom build request. It's important to note that the longest length with weave is 30', but we can make longer XLR cables without weave (bare) at any length desired.

The weave is a poly-weave, meaning it's a plastic polymer-based weave. We use a variety of brands, but primarily TechFlex. It's designed to be heat and abrasion resistant. It is not a cloth/fabric weave, which tends to fray and stain easily.

The sound of these cables are incredible and worth every penny. I have a couple of other coiled cables by other brands and the Rattlesnake sounds the best and I think it will be more durable. I really like having the option to choose the cable color and whether you have a straight or right angle plug with or without gold contacts. It arrived just a couple of days after I placed the order. I am very happy with my purchase.
