OFBC stands for Oxygen-Free Bare Copper. We wanted to have a little fun with this sticker and model it after the National Parks style abbreviation. Our primary instrument cable (Standard / Snake Head) uses OFBC (Oxygen-Free Bare Copper) for shield and signal conductors. For those of you that aren't familiar, it's an extremely high grade of copper, and we love using it!

Often, people into boutique cables are familiar with the OFBC term. Personally, when I think of this sticker on my vehicle puts a smile on my face.

Using Mogami cables and zip ties, I put together homemade 4 cable snakes of various lengths. I always thought there was something better out there. Then I found Rattlesnake Cable Company, and just love their products. I ordered a 12 ft loom along with a 12 ft snakehead guitar cable for my 1317 board, and a 20 ft loom & a 15 ft snakehead guitar cable for my 1520 rig. Within 10 minutes of placing my order, Hank called me and went over specs & recommendations. I was blown away by that kind of response and he really knows his stuff, helping me put together these two rigs. Within a day my order shipped and when I received them, the packaging was not only done well, it was very attractive as the looms and guitar cables were each in their own Rattlesnake Cabe canvas bags. There were all sort of nice promotional items as well. I connected both looms and cables to both rigs and fired them up. Not only are the weave colors attractive, but the cables are super clean and quiet. This will make setup and teardown a lot quicker and easier. I am so glad I found this company. Let me tell you about one of the best days of my LIFE! I have always been a HUGE fan of Rattlesnake Cables since the day a group I was recording came in, and showed me the new cables they had just got. They felt amazing, and they told me they had stood up to all of their shows and everything they had done to that point, and it didn't hurt that it looked good to boot! So after a little research, I ordered my very first cable from them to give it a run, and see how it stood up to the rigors of everyday studio use. To my absolute thrill, it took all the beatings and then some! I still use that cable to this day on every recording that comes thru my studio! So how does this involve my best day ever you ask? Let's just say that from that day forward I had become a bit of a "fanboy" about Rattlesnake Cables. So fast forward a number of years later, and was building a new pedal board for the studio, and I saw on their Instagram that they had started making patch cables. Knowing how great my other cables of theirs had stood the test of time, and not wanting to redo the board every year to replace beat-down cables, I thought it would be worth every penny to get the best available. So I go on their website, select the pack that worked best, and as I was checking out, I saw a new option for pickup, instead of delivery. Well, being extremely blessed that they are located so close, I chose the pickup option to maybe save a couple of bucks. So within hours, Hank Donovan, the owner, and creator of Rattlesnake cables called me personally, to let me know the cables had been made and were ready for pickup. So I went in the following day to pick them up, and I honestly couldn't believe the person to come and meet me at the top of the stairs to hand me my new cables, was Hank himself! I did my best not to fanboy out, but failed miserably as the first words to fall out of my mouth were "It's an honor to meet you"... and only got worse from there. Then Hank offered to give a guided tour of their new building, and I'm pretty sure I blacked out after that because I had died and gone to heaven. Best. Day. EVER! Needless to say, I will use and recommend Rattlesnake cables from now till the day I die. And when it come to re-cabling my recording desk and everything in the studio, I will trust no one, but Rattlesnake cables. Do yourself a favor, invest in things that last, and work as they always should. Rattlesnake cables are the choice for anyone who is serious about their sound. You're welcome.

I love these cables! My wife bought me my first one for my birthday a year or two ago and since then I’ve ordered custom purple ones and they are beautiful! I’m expanding my rig to a wet/dry set up and grabbed another as well as a new speaker cable. Down the road I will definitely be getting patch cables as whenever I add a Rattlesnake Cable my signal gets cleaner. I can’t say enough about how much I love these things and the packaging, holy cow! So fancy!
