I'm not a fan of TRS Y-Cables. They tend to fail, and you are stuck with the length you get. We are often asked about Y-Cables, and I recommend a TRS to Dual Mono Splitter!
You have maximum durability at the Y connection with a TRS to Dual Mono Splitter. It will hold up, and a Y will slowly get stressed. Additionally, you have the flexibility of using a variety of cable lengths. You can use long instrument cables, TRS cables, or patch cables for the TS or TRS connection. You're not stuck with the set length with this splitter, and since application requirements often change depending on the situation, it's nice to have options.
If you're using a Rickenbacker deluxe instrument with the Rick-O-Sound output jack, this is a great solution (in conjunction with a TRS cable). Learn more about the Rick-O-Sound here. Or if your instrument uses a TRS OBEL (On-Board Effects Loop) similar to what Jerry Garcia was known to use, this is also an excellent tool. The TRS to Dual Mono Splitter is great for guitars with dual outputs (magnet and piezo) that use a stereo output jack. Additionally, the splitter could be used with the Little Thunder guitar pickup systems!

We are musicians. What does that mean? We know what it feels like when gear fails on stage. We hate that feeling, and we think about that with every build. As musicians, we also know how hard the road can be on gear and focus on making it stand the abuse.
We take great pride that our custom instrument, XLR, and speaker cables are milled in the United States. All of our milled cables are built to our specifications here in the states and then soldered by hand in Missoula, Montana, by our great team!
We will absolutely take care of you if you run into any issues with your cable. We do our best to prevent issues and understand life on stages and on the road can be hard on the cables. We've been there, and we'll definitely treat you right if you have any issues.
