I purchased a custom 20ft cable loom with three straight quarter inch cables and one midi cable to run from my pedalboard to my EVH 5150III Stealth. I chose Mean Green to match my guitar and couldn't resist ordering a 20ft Snake Head cable to tie everything together. When it came time to rewire my pedal board, I knew I had to move away from solderless cables. I had purchased a standard cable a while back and could feel and see the quality, so Rattlesnake seemed like the logical choice. I never realized there was an issue with my signal path due to the solderless cables. Upon first plugging in my updated board, I had one of those "oh snap" moments. Board sounds amazing, the hum is gone, and I don't have to worry that if I move my board, my signal might cut out.
