Our XLR cable uses our dual conductor cable milled in the United States. All XLRs use Neutrik Pro-Grade Nickel or Black Shells and are available with weave or no-weave if preferred. Rattlesnake Cable Company XLR cables are great for studio application and live stages. Weaving allows for a great opportunity to color-code cables and adds additional protection. No. The contacts are the same for either style of Neutrik plugs. This is strictly a cosmetic preference. There is a higher purchase cost for us on the black.

Absolutely, just fill out a custom build request. It's important to note that the longest length with weave is 30', but we can make longer XLR cables without weave (bare) at any length desired.

The weave is a poly-weave, meaning it's a plastic polymer-based weave. We use a variety of brands, but primarily TechFlex. It's designed to be heat and abrasion resistant. It is not a cloth/fabric weave, which tends to fray and stain easily.

These cables are top notch! The snake head cable are my favorite and they look so sharp with the different color options. I the flex patch cables really improved the noise of my pedal board. Can't recommend these cables enough!
