Our new 5-Pin MIDI cables are built with the same attention to detail and tone-focused mindset you've come to expect from Rattlesnake. These cables use Best-Tronic's CA-0345 Star Quad - a heavy-duty, shielded 4-conductor cable with 24AWG stranded bare copper. That means clean, stable MIDI communication without the noise or signal loss you get from thinner, mass-produced cables.

We're keeping these no-weave by design. The clean rubber jacket gives it a sleek, pro look - and keeps things compact, especially for pedalboards, rack systems, and studio setups. Each cable is hand-assembled right here in Missoula, Montana, and finished with REAN/Neutrik 5-pin MIDI connectors for a solid, secure fit.

I just got the cable, and it works. Honestly, I haven't had a chance yet to put it through it's paces or compare it to my Mogami or Vox or planet waves cables, so bear that in mind. First of all, the whole experience in buying and receiving feels like a boutique cable (b/c it is). Pick your length, you connector types, your colors, etc. I opted for a 15' TRS Copper, non-"snake head" cable. The cable comes in a box in a cloth bag like you might find with high-end dress shoes, stickers, a velcro cable wrap, etc. It's just so well put together and packaged - completely unlike buying your typical Planet Waves or George L or Lava Cables. The Rattlesnake cables seems to be almost the same as Caulfield Cable's Tour Series in terms of construction, capacitance (the Rattlesnakes have better capacitance than the Caufield Standard Series), flexibility, etc. Even without the 20% discount that you can regularly get, the Rattlesnakes are significantly less expensive, AND have better plugs. And there are the regular sales for different colors, even colors that you don't normally see on their site. It's a win-win! I bought this on a whim, basically. I found a blog article. Then I read up on the cable quality on TheGearPage (all glowing reviews). I compared to Caulfield Cables. Rattlesnake wins, easily. Half the price of Lava, better than Planet Waves, cheaper than the equivalent Caufield. These will be my standard go-to instrument, speaker, etc. cables from now on. And if they start making the MIDI cable variants that Caufield does, I'll switch to those too.

Recently bought an oxblood guitar cable for my oxblood stained guitar during their Valentine's day sale.... After only using those no name rubber coated cables for more than 30 years I'll never go back. (The bands I've played in are not very cable friendly they get stomped on, kicked, whipped etc on stage) This cable is so cool looking and well made! It's like an extension of my guitar! I'm going to be buying more of these in the future most definitely! Customer service was incredible. They personally called me to make sure the address was correct. It's cool to have that personal touch on something like a cable. My entire playing life cables have been such a non factor ....personality wise. Just something I needed. (The only cable I've ever been "wowed" by would be the white curly cables which are incredibly expensive.) A 'thing' you bought from a big chain guitar store. Hopefully, these cables will be able to put up with the non stop use in practice rooms and stages. So far, I'm not seeing why they wouldn't. It came in it's own carrying satchel also, which was a nice touch. I'm currently eyeballing the hot pink guitar cable. It's really cool looking. So ..... So far so good as far as functionality and sound. Time and usage will be the real test on rattlesnake cables and I'm not worried in the least. Thanks rattlesnake cables! ????????????????????????????

I’ve been playing guitar for over twenty years, and in that time, I’ve always bought and used cables from places like Guitar Center. I never gave cables much of a thought, until a former teacher of mine enlightened me on just how important they are. Your cable is what connects your guitar to the amplifier after all, so if it’s not a good quality cable, you won’t get a good connection, you won’t get a good sound. I was on Reddit not too long ago, and saw Rattlesnake Cables being mentioned in the guitar related subreddits I follow. I did a bit of research, liked what I found, and bought my first Rattlesnake cable. Honestly, it is the best cable I’ve ever used! Barely any hum, the cable itself is heavy and solid, and above all, my guitar sounds amazing! It sounds clear and articulate, while the tone is so defined. It’s awesome to hear, how much of a difference a cable can make. So if you’re looking for a good quality guitar cable; American made, and American built, look no further than Rattlesnake Cable Co. Awesome customer service, lightning quick shipping, great packaging. I will never buy any of the mainstream cable brands again.
