The Pro Patch uses the same spec cable as our instrument cables and uses high-quality RCC Right Angle GGN (Gold) plugs. Due to the thicker cable diameter (.280"), the cables will come in the following lengths - 8", 10" and 12". Note, if flexibility is a concern, we recommend our Flex-Patch.

When people read that, the first assumption is that the copper is somehow 'air tight'. Nope. OFBC is part of the smelting process where the oxygen molecules are smelted out or removed to a point where it's below .001%. This makes a very pure copper allowing for great conductivity.Answer
Our primary instrument, speaker, XLR, TRS, and Flex patch cables are built using Rattlesnake-brand bulk cable that is custom manufactured for us in the United States. We developed the specifications for each cable based on the flexibility, durability, handling, and electrical performance we wanted. It is not off-the-shelf Belden, Mogami, Canare, or another manufacturer’s finished cable covered with an outer weave.After the bulk cable is manufactured to our specifications, every finished cable is cut, sleeved, soldered, tested, and packaged by our team in Missoula, Montana.
Some specialized products use third-party bulk cable when it is the best fit for that application. When they do, we identify the cable manufacturer and model in the product’s Specifications tab.
Complete construction and electrical details, including conductor material, wire gauge, capacitance, shielding, and cable diameter, are provided in the Specifications section of each applicable product page.

Typically, cable capacitance is an issue with longer runs so it's not really an issue with patch cables.Answer
Unfortunately, no. The Pro Patch uses our standard instrument cable and that cable diameter is too large to securely mount our pancake plugs.Answer
Stubby straights are great for switching systems or with pedals that have narrow jack placement. The Stubby Straight has a shorter barrel (1.05") length.Answer
U-Config is the default standard where plugs are facing the same direction. This is ideal for pedals next to each other with jacks on the side. If you have a situation where one pedal has side jacks and the pedal next to it has top mounted jacks - the S-Config fits great. Also, if you require a long patch from one pedal on a bottom row to a pedal on the top row on the opposite side, a S-Config would work great.Answer

The weave is a poly-weave, meaning it's a plastic polymer-based weave. We use a variety of brands, but primarily TechFlex. It's designed to be heat and abrasion resistant. It is not a cloth/fabric weave, which tends to fray and stain easily.

I received my 2 custom 10ft guitar cables, one gold one nickel, within 3 days. Absolutely incredible quality and customer service. If you loop your cable through a strap I recommend adding the protective “tail”. To protect the surface of the guitar I will be ordering again and I highly recommend this product and company!

This is my second purchase from Rattlesnake Cables, a 15-foot cable that I will use on stage. My first one was a shorter cable, used in the studio for recording. These cables are absolutely indestructible! They also reproduce faithfully your instrument's True Tone. Great signal-to-noise ratio, obviously as a result of the wire and materials used in making these cables. And, the customer service is the best….and I’m talking about any company I’ve ever dealt with….not just those in the music business! And in these crazy times, that’s a tremendous statement!
