Our XLR cable uses our dual conductor cable milled in the United States. All XLRs use Neutrik Pro-Grade Nickel or Black Shells and are available with weave or no-weave if preferred. Rattlesnake Cable Company XLR cables are great for studio applications and live stages. Weaving allows for a great opportunity to color-code cables and adds additional protection. No. The contacts are the same for either style of Neutrik plugs. This is strictly a cosmetic preference. There is a higher purchase cost for us on the black.Answer
Absolutely, just fill out a custom build request. It's important to note that the longest length with weave is 30', but we can make longer XLR cables without weave (bare) at any length desired.Answer
The weave is a poly-weave, meaning it's a plastic polymer-based weave. We use a variety of brands, but primarily TechFlex. It's designed to be heat and abrasion resistant. It is not a cloth/fabric weave, which tends to fray and stain easily.

I purchased a 20' cable from Rattlesnake Cable Company. My Bass guitar sound changed dramatically when using this cable. The mid frequencies and high frequencies sounded more open and balanced. After that I bought one to go between my pedal board and amp. There is something to improving your cabling in your entire rig. Whether its from your guitar/bass to your pedal board and then to your amp or even power cables from your wall to your amp. Dare I say from your amp to your speaker too? Rattlesnake company makes awesome custom cables for your guitar or bass rig. The best bang for the buck in low capacitance cable I could find! Oh I forgot cables between your pedals can effect your sound too....get good ones!
