Our XLR cable uses our dual conductor cable milled in the United States. All XLRs use Neutrik Pro-Grade Nickel or Black Shells and are available with weave or no-weave if preferred. Rattlesnake Cable Company XLR cables are great for studio application and live stages. Weaving allows for a great opportunity to color-code cables and adds additional protection. No. The contacts are the same for either style of Neutrik plugs. This is strictly a cosmetic preference. There is a higher purchase cost for us on the black.Answer
Absolutely, just fill out a custom build request. It's important to note that the longest length with weave is 30', but we can make longer XLR cables without weave (bare) at any length desired.Answer
The weave is a poly-weave, meaning it's a plastic polymer-based weave. We use a variety of brands, but primarily TechFlex. It's designed to be heat and abrasion resistant. It is not a cloth/fabric weave, which tends to fray and stain easily.

We take great pride that our custom instrument, XLR, and speaker cables are milled in the United States. All of our milled cables are built to our specifications here in the states and then soldered by hand in Missoula, Montana, by our great team!

I've been playing guitar since 1972. During all the years I've tried every string on the market. Over the years I've used some really good sounding strings but once I tried Stringjoys I was hooked. Not sure how many sets of SJ's I've put on my Telecasters and also my Taylor acoustic but they are for real. I've found SJ's to be long lasting, smooth as ice, and subtle but really clean. Love them and that's all I buy now. I'm fortunate to have tried them. Time to order more I think. If you play guitar you should try them. SJ's my string. RM
