Our XLR cable uses our dual conductor cable milled in the United States. All XLRs use Neutrik Pro-Grade Nickel or Black Shells and are available with weave or no-weave if preferred. Rattlesnake Cable Company XLR cables are great for studio applications and live stages. Weaving allows for a great opportunity to color-code cables and adds additional protection. No. The contacts are the same for either style of Neutrik plugs. This is strictly a cosmetic preference. There is a higher purchase cost for us on the black.Answer
Absolutely, just fill out a custom build request. It's important to note that the longest length with weave is 30', but we can make longer XLR cables without weave (bare) at any length desired.Answer
The weave is a poly-weave, meaning it's a plastic polymer-based weave. We use a variety of brands, but primarily TechFlex. It's designed to be heat and abrasion resistant. It is not a cloth/fabric weave, which tends to fray and stain easily.

Once you take the cable out of the bag they send it in, you can see and feel the quality they put into their product. This is the 4th guitar cable I have purchased from them. You cannot go wrong with Rattlesnake Cables. Once you get one, you'll have to have more.

GET A RATTLESNAKE! THEY DON’T BITE! After years of getting what I considered some of the best guitars and amps I realized that what I had in the way of cables was, well basically junk. Luckily I discovered Rattlesnake Cables. In addition to being a visual treat, colors and patterns, the great “snakehead “ concept to protect your guitar finish, the cables provided a solid, stable connection. Gone were the snaps and crackles of thin, poorly soldered connections and loose jacks. Acoustic, electric, tube amp and solid state all sounded better to me and provided confidence in my equipment. I replace my head to cab cable with a Rattlesnake cable made specifically for that application, again no more concerns about connections. I am working on replacing pedalboard jumpers with Rattlesnake connections. Multiple lengths available to solve board design issues. These folks are nice to work with. Packaging is well though out, a nice cable tie include, a cable bag and cool sticker. The hand written thank you note on a small pad, to me, exemplifies their commitment to customer service. It’s a small American company that does things right. Cool T-shirts too!
