After a little thought I decided to take the plunge and just re-outfit with all Rattlesnake Cables. In my many years of playing guitar, it was the best decision I have made. I don't worry about cables being intermittent or not functioning properly because of how beefy they are, especially with the outer cover. I don't worry about the ends coming loose or dodgy because of the care taken in the way the ends are attached and wrapped.
