I always heard about Rattlesnake Cables and had seen them. I ordered a Purple one and I love it!!! I then ordered a couple of Midnight Purple and a couple of Grey.... all with Rattlesnake ends. Then, I got a couple Speaker Cables. I LOVE these cables. The tone is true and they are durable.... plus, they look really cool. But, the test is in the tone. I’ve noticed no tone loss with these cables. I can trust that when I plug in I’m gonna be happy. Also, the fact that you can message Hank and he is very quick in responding. That, for me, has been icing on the cake with his customer service. Well done!!!! I’ll be ordering more very soon!!!!

Have you ever wondered what happens when you give an expensive guitar cable to a class of 8th grade age wannabe rock stars learning to play electric guitar? It either winds up misplaced, misused or completely broken. I have had other brands cables used to lasso another student, used as a tarzan swing, used as door stops and sometimes used to connect a guitar to an amp. Needless to say some cables don't hold up more than one or two weeks of use and abuse. That is until I tried the Rattlesnake brand of cables. First they are really cool looking and neat to an 8th grade mind. Most importantly they are durable and can withstand the constant abuse that a 13 year old rock guitar student can dish out. I cannot recommend them any higher than that! They are still in use and have beat all of my current brands (Monster, Planet Waves and Mogami) hands down. I am slowly replacing my entire stock of instrument, speaker, and mic cables with Rattlesnake brand cables at our Academy of Fine Arts located in Plano Texas.

Over the years I’ve ordered many products from Hank and will continue to do so and suggest his Cables to colleagues. I don’t often “unofficially” endorse products but his are worthy of praise. Everything is built to order with impeccable attention to detail using quality stuff (these cables honestly hold their own against many more expensive industry options that don’t have the same cool aesthetic nor the high level of personalized service). I have yet to experience a single issue and have no doubt that Hank and co wouldn’t stand behind the products should they fail. The Cables look and sound great and hold up to gigging, practicing and session work. I get lots of compliments from other musicians, sound engineers, friends/family, and even audience members on the cables. I liked the cables so much that I’ve even added his buffer to my pedalboard. The weaves not only look cool and offer an added layer of protection but help make it easy for me to identify my gear (which I find crucial when gigging during setup/tear down, no more missing/lost/stolen cables). And if you are into swag the t shirts are comfy and are a great way to promote the brand. It’s only a matter of time until I start weeding out my old mic cables in favor of some nicely weaved new mic cables from Rattlesnake. If you’ve got a musician in your life these would also make a spectacular gift especially with the tin, Hank really goes above and beyond in the packing and presentation dept.

I have even done special requests and he’s been more than accommodating. The way he packages everything, seems to keep track of his customers, and makes you feel thanked and part of the family is a huge selling point to me. There has much discussion on whether cables make that big of a difference to the sound. I play with "doubters", in fact, at times. There is NO DOUBT that Rattlesnake Cables make a huge difference in the entire sound spectrum of my instrument. The lows, as I play bass, are so clean and tight and beautiful, that I would be reluctant to go up the neck, but the highs are so crystal and percussive, unlike any cable I have played, that the entire instrument has a new life! I am definitely looking forward to getting speaker cables. I'd be crazy not to!

When I converted the entire, signal chain of my guitar, ('54 epiphone, devon, played through '65 bandmaster), to Rattlesnake cables, I had to turn down! I not shitting you. The signal, was so much more efficient, I needed to bump down a bit. Plus, with the shielding on the cable, can handle all the abuse a gigging musician can throw at it. Beer - cowboy boot, heels - carelessly coiling it up, drunk, at 2 a.m. They're great! And they look great too. I've had mine for years - as have, all of my band mates - and they're flawless.

I bought my first Rattlesnake Cable on a whim. All of my run of the mill cables would break and wear out pretty quick. I now also have to say that most of them sounded bad. Plugging my first Rattlesnake straight into an amp was an eye opener. I have since replaced pretty pretty much ever cable I have. Not one them has let out so much as a crackle. They are bulletproof and look cool as hell. Looking cool is important. Admit it. All of mine are different colors so I can mix and match them like ties for your best suit.
