These cables are very quiet and side by side with my previous cables there is a notable difference in clarity and tone! For the most part, I plug straight into the front of my amp and don't use much in the way of pedals aside from a modeler for certain gigs and for that I used a Rattlesnake TRS to XLR so, my entire rig is now Rattlesnake.
