After my first order, I was impressed how the Rattlesnake team kept me informed of my order every step along the way, from the time I ordered my first set of cables, to when it was being prepared and finally when it shipped. Shipping was fast, which is always appreciated. But what really impressive was the amount of detail in the boxing and packaging of my cable order. There is a lot of love that goes into packing their guitar cables. Each cable came wrapped in their own beautiful drawstring cloth bag and all mailed in a sturdy reinforced box.

My first order consisted of 2 standard cables in 10 and 15 foot lengths. A few weeks later I ordered a Snake Head cable, which is fantastic for plugging into the jack end of my Strat. I've since ordered several Flex Patch cables, both in U- and S- configurations, for my pedalboard.

So far, so good! I'm looking forward to receiving my cables, but the patch interconnects have been on "the board" for about 2 weeks now. They seem to be very well-built, much better than the MXR cables I had on there before. At least one of the MXR's would fail every month or two (and I don't even play out anymore), so we'll see how these compare!

I tend to seek small, American companies for the vast majority of products that I buy. I have heard about Rattlesnake Cable Company through guitar forums and other sources, but never really looked into it until recently. I've used mostly Fender coil cords for guitar/amp, but I've tried many brands of patch cables (to no satisfaction) over the years. I had an obnoxious short in a patch cables, as was disappointed in the "noise" I was getting from my Fender cable directly from my R9 to my Cali Tweed amp. So, I took the plunge and bought a snake head cable (with snake weave) and a few 3-footers. When I opened them, my wife's first comment was "those are sexy." We both agreed the quality was top-tier. But, the magic happened when I went direct from LP to my amp and noted a prominent sound quality never before experienced in my home. I had also bought patch cables in that same order. The improvement was apparent (not subtle like so other experiences). Less than a week later, I bought 2 more 15 footers (for my effects loop) and an XLR cable for a mic. I'm running only Rattlesnake cables from guitar, through pedal board (and effects loop pedals) to the amp and I will say, unequivocally, these are the best cables out there. Absolutely premium product with unparalleled customer service. Do yourself a favor and spend the money to support this Montana company.
