The cables sound great because they use quality components and are assembled by a caring team. When you contact Rattlesnake, you get a human, if not the owner. Odd custom cables with weird wiring/lengths are no problem. You get a genuine lifetime warranty on their products. And they're as durable as cables get, with protective sleeves in attractive colors. Finally, when you buy a Rattlesnake cable, you support a US business and employees. For me, all of this justifies the cost, which goes towards things I want to support as a consumer.

I bought these because they look sweet with the weave, but there is a lot more to them than that. The weave is actually kind of rigid, not just fabric like other brands. This is cool because it resists twisting and tangling up as you move around the stage. I noticed this right away using these cables at home; then it was proven a couple nights ago in a performance setting. Guys in my band picked up the cables and were impressed by the quality feel and the hefty connections. The bottom line is always sound, and they sound just as good as my Mogami cables and they will surely hold up a ton better. I don't see how you can buy a better cable anywhere, and since these are made by hand in the USA, they are just a win-win.
