Testimonial:

Packaging was solid, box goodies were a nice surprise too. The cable was visually striking, the tangerine color with the white shrink tubes matches my Orange IR15 as a bonus, it was neatly coiled inside of a drawstring bag, has a nice stiffness to it without feeling brittle, the tubing around the plugs is neatly applied and the subtle logos look nice too. The plugs themselves feel secure and well seated. No extra noise or feedback when I plugged in and played for a couple of hours, didn't hinder my movement or really get in my way. When I was done it coiled up neatly without resistance for storage. Hank and the Rattlesnake team were communicative and courteous, it was a pleasure doing business with them. I felt like a significantly valued customer, regardless of my humble 10ft cable order. All said and done, I'm a satisfied customer and will be replacing all of my cables with Rattlesnake cables as quickly as possible.

Many years ago now I met Hank Donovan on the guitar forums on Farcebook. he was always an ace dude, and when I found out about his product, I was intrigued. As a professional musician, I really wanted to check it out, but the higher price kept me at bay... a false economy triggered by stupidity. recently, Rattlesnake was having a sale, so I decided to try one. it was a class act all the way as an experience, including some unexpected perks like messages to let me know my cable was in process, and even a video from hank thanking me for my purchase. it arrived a couple days later in a nice hemp stash bag, and MAN! this sucker is INDESTRUCTABLE. even my 400 lb ass standing on the thing won't crush it's protective sheathing. the ends are SOLID and perfectly protected with shrink wrap. the bare end for the guitar is a great touch, as its way more flexible than the sheathed part of the cable. tonally it's very clear sounding, with a nice phase alignment.... ie, the bass/mids/trebs all seem equal and balanced which can be a hat trick with any cable... often they suck highs or lose lows. this thing sounds great. every aspect of the deal was pretty sweet. the cable may have SEEMED expensive, BUT IN REALITY it's gonna outlast every other cable I've ever owned, I can tell already... hell, I paid more for a monster cable in the past that never made it 10 years before screwing up. I've gone thru probably a thousand dollars of cables over the last couple decades... but this cable will likely last me MY last couple decades. I chose the rattlesnake cover personally, cuz it was so dang cool looking but they have all kinds of other covers you can choose. factor in the custom shop aspect where you can choose your options, and this may well be the finest cable monger on the entire earth. I'm NOT kidding. ~jimi photon, dime-store rockstar and fuzzbox maven

Testimonial:

After using my Monster cables for years, I was looking for something different. I bought two cables from Rattlesnake Cable Company for my guitar rig set up and was blown away! They are so well balanced in all the right frequencies, built like a tank, easy to use on live stages without the dreaded " cable curl " my old cables were infamous for, and are extremely GOOD LOOKING! I will definitely continue to buy my guitar cables from this great company from here on.....

Testimonial:

These are excellent quality, durable cables that should last a very long time. I liked the first cable and buying experience so much, I ordered a second cable right after I received the first one. Their turnaround time is incredibly quick. My orders were processed, assembled, and shipped in a couple of days.

Thoughts about our Service:

The products are excellent, but Rattlesnake's customer service is why I will continue to buy from them. I had tried ordering boutique cables from a different company, had a very bad experience and was a bit reticent to try again. When I really needed a new cable, I did some research and came up with Rattlesnake Cable Company. I could not be happier with my experience. Email updates on order progress, hand written thank you notes in the shipment, and top shelf packaging, all prove that this company really cares about their customers. And getting you the best cables possible. Order one and find out. You won't regret it.

I've made multiple purchases from Rattlesnake and shipping has always been fast. Great quality at a reasonable price. Even the variety of colors are interesting. I'm not sure what more I could hope for. Definitely recommended.

Thoughts about our Service:

Getting a custom cable fast is great, but the hand written thank you I got with each purchase put things over the top. That little touch made me feel great about doing business with Rattlesnake Cable Company.

What was purchased:

Various 20 foot instrument cables, all with the "Snake Head" end. That gives a little added flexibility for plugging the cable into my guitars. Love the concept.

What JC M. Said...

Testimonial:

Absolutely the best cables I've used. Most nice looking cables cannot stand up to hard use on stage. The coating on these cables stays clean and they are super tough. My sound stays pure even when the cables are stomped on regularly. Good looking and tough.... like a Rattlesnake! You won't find any other cables on my side of the stage.

Thoughts about our Service:

Excellent customer service. I received a video thanks and updates when my build was started, finished, and shipped. Couldn't be more thorough.

I've been using Rattlesnake Cables for several years now and love them. Excellent build quality, durable, sound quality, it’s all great. Aesthetically cables are always an afterthought but I think the weaves here are great and help add personality to your gear. Everything I've ordered has been made at the highest level of quality. Build time, shipping and everything from the customer services end has been an A+ experience. I’m a lifer.

Testimonial:

Had a great buying experience on the cable I ordered! I made a mistake and accidentally ordered one gold and one nickel connector. They thought that was a little odd and called to confirm my order and we got it straightened out over the phone. My tangerine snake head cable showed up quickly and the packaging and product were outstanding! Highly recommend this great company... I wish more businesses could be run this way!

What was purchased:

15 ft Tangerine snake head 1/4" cable

What Jason D. Said...

Testimonial:

The cables shipped quickly and seen to be of very high quality. I have not had them long but I suspect they will withstand pretty hard use given the obvious build quality. They sound as good as any high-end cable I've tried. The shrink tube on the jack is maybe 5" long and has very sturdy protection on the solder joint. I am used to fender tweed cables fraying in no time, These seem made of armor comparatively. The cables are very stiff compared to what I'm used to and the jacket is coarse. You definitely will want a snake head model if you loop through your strap. I would purchase them again.

Thoughts about our Service:

Excellent. I got a video message when they shipped. Service was fast and Hank seems like a genuinely nice guy.
