As most musicians know, cables can, and will, make or break your show. We've all been there. Our rig is set up, pedal board in place, tubes warming... no sound... Cable failure is one of the most defeating feeling when setting up or in a show and it can hog your attention and exasperate your emotions right when your focus needs to be on your set. I've never thought of cables as being anything other than utilitarian, however the tone clarity Rattlesnake cables provides has truly been inspiring in my playing. I have nice guitars and amps and an expensive pedal board set-up, but my rig has never sounded as good as it does when using Rattlesnake Cables.

First, I have been performing professionally for 50 years. I have owned many cables over that time and have seen lots of changes over the years. Some "monster" cables which claim to be rugged have proven not to be, even though they may have improved my tone/sound. I first purchased a 10' snake head Rattlesnake cable probably 7 years ago in dirty tweed. I was so impressed with the tone on my jazz gigs that I purchased 2 - 20' cables of the same for my Blues and Rockabilly gigs. There is a noticeable difference in the quality of tone and construction of Rattlesnake compared to other brands of lesser and higher price. In fact, at a few of my blues jams, other guitarists who have forgotten their own cable or had a failure and then used one of my Rattlesnakes were overwhelmed in the quality of their "new" sound. I gave them the Rattlesnake web address and I know 2 guitarists who purchased cables and loved them. Also, I had a small problem with the sleeve drifting on one of my cables some years back and Hank not only repaired the sleeve but upgraded the plugs as well. And, all at no cost.

What was purchased:

2 X 15' Snake head for my two basses and one standard 15' for the pedalboard to the Bass Amp. Same for my guitar pedalboard but with 2 X 15' standard from the pedalboard to the two guitar Amps (Stereo set up...). Two 20' straight to right angle, white outer shrink tubes in white for my keytar. I have red, green (Red for right, green for left, very practical...), sage and gray cables (So, different colors for my different basses that are plugged at the same time into the pedalboard). I also have 4 other cables that goes form the pedalboard to the loop of the two Amp (Send and return) it was important for me to have the best cable in order not to lose any highs with long length of cables and it worked even better than expected. My plan is to order 10 of their XLR cables for my microphones on stage and 5 of their flex patch cables.
