I think my first purchase was 5 years ago. I have been performing professionally for 53 years. Working 4 - 6 gigs per week puts a toll on equipment, especially cables. It usually didn't matter how much I spent, cables would barely last 6 months. Companies wouldn't backup their product claiming abuse. Then I took a chance on Rattlesnake. I purchased a 15 foot snake head dirty tweed. The first thing I noticed was how clear the tone was! I then purchased a 25 footer. Three months later the weave was a little loose on one end. Hank took the cable and, not only repaired the weave, but upgraded the plugs! Five years later, and both cables are still going strong, gig after gig.

I switched to Rattlesnake Cables after having several big name cables fail after normal use. The colors Hank uses to wrap the cables look so good I’ve actually bought some of the short run colors on impulse. Being a gigging musician, Rattlesnake cables’ resistance to tangle is another huge plus and makes at least one part of load out a breeze and they lay great when stretched out on stage. I always use a Rattlesnake cable to run from my pedalboard to my amp in red to match my head and cab. The quality of the cable ends is first rate as well and I’ve yet to even have the slightest short or failure in the cables I own.
