I tested the cable with my Eden E8 practice amp and my Aguilar DB750 bass head with a 4x10 cab. The difference in sound from the previous cable I had was night and day. Rattlesnake cable has more definition, very clear, with everything in its place. My P basses with Thomastik Infeld and the rattlesnake played on mi Eden was as if I just took off a blanket from it (and made the sound muffled). With the Aguilar rig I was in tone heaven. The ghost notes and harmonics playing my fretless (with GHS rounds) were very clear. I thought that my 5-string P bass with Tonestyler on the "no tone" option was as as clear one could get if used with a 10' cable; boy I was wrong. This is not my first buy on a quality cable, for years I had monster cables but eventually stop using them because of the jack issues that come with them. Rattlesnake cables is a must-have for musicians that have "tone" as one of their main focuses and the attention to detail in customer service is incredible (Just the fact that the Owner of the company sends you a personal video thanking you for your purchase says a lot). I’m a big fan of Rattlesnake cables.

Let me tell you about one of the best days of my LIFE! I have always been a HUGE fan of Rattlesnake Cables since the day a group I was recording came in, and showed me the new cables they had just got. They felt amazing, and they told me they had stood up to all of their shows and everything they had done to that point, and it didn't hurt that it looked good to boot! So after a little research, I ordered my very first cable from them to give it a run, and see how it stood up to the rigors of everyday studio use. To my absolute thrill, it took all the beatings and then some! I still use that cable to this day on every recording that comes thru my studio! So how does this involve my best day ever you ask? Let's just say that from that day forward I had become a bit of a "fanboy" about Rattlesnake Cables. So fast forward a number of years later, and was building a new pedal board for the studio, and I saw on their Instagram that they had started making patch cables. Knowing how great my other cables of theirs had stood the test of time, and not wanting to redo the board every year to replace beat-down cables, I thought it would be worth every penny to get the best available. So I go on their website, select the pack that worked best, and as I was checking out, I saw a new option for pickup, instead of delivery. Well, being extremely blessed that they are located so close, I chose the pickup option to maybe save a couple of bucks. So within hours, Hank Donovan, the owner, and creator of Rattlesnake cables called me personally, to let me know the cables had been made and were ready for pickup. So I went in the following day to pick them up, and I honestly couldn't believe the person to come and meet me at the top of the stairs to hand me my new cables, was Hank himself! I did my best not to fanboy out, but failed miserably as the first words to fall out of my mouth were "It's an honor to meet you"... and only got worse from there. Then Hank offered to give a guided tour of their new building, and I'm pretty sure I blacked out after that because I had died and gone to heaven. Best. Day. EVER! Needless to say, I will use and recommend Rattlesnake cables from now till the day I die. And when it come to re-cabling my recording desk and everything in the studio, I will trust no one, but Rattlesnake cables. Do yourself a favor, invest in things that last, and work as they always should. Rattlesnake cables are the choice for anyone who is serious about their sound. You're welcome.

I have bought cables from Rattlesnake Cable for many years now. First time on a whim. The weave intrigued me. I must say there are no better built cables anywhere. I bought it on a whim and never looked back. I especially like the snake head ends. I have mine custom-built to my specs. I still have the first one I ever bought from Hank. These cables actually enhance my tone. I have Mogami, Monster, Hosa, etc, etc. But Rattlesnake beats them all by leaps and bounds....did I mention tone. My studio guy attests to this. The only problem is....these cables are so dang good, you never have to replace them! But a new weave comes out....and I gotta get another! I use guitar, patch, and speaker cables. They are the best!
