Jason O. - I got a Rickenbacker 12 string a couple months ago, and wanted to try out the Ric-o-Sound option. Someone on Reddit had recommended Rattlesnake, so decided to give them a try. Turns out Reddit was right -- I got the cable & splitter in record time, along with a surprise notepad. I still need to do a more thoughtful setup, but I started by running the bridge pickup into a Vox AC-15 through my standard pedalboard, and the bridge into a Bassman 500.... Oscar V. - So recently... I traded in some gear at my local spot. As part of the exchange, I walked away with a spare Amp/speaker cable from Pig Hog to be a backup for my run-of-the-mill budget cable from Conquest. (The Conquest cable is beginning to pull apart from the jack at one end. Still works, but keeping it real with myself... I know it's slowly falling apart and will fail at some point.) So I decided to do a shootout and see if the spare was better... May 5, 2023 Read Full Testimonial
Alon N. - I have a pretty complicated pedalboard, and needed a very specific kind of box which almost no one makes. The box is small and sturdy and looks high quality, and does what it should. Well done guys. May 5, 2023 Read Full Testimonial

Glen L. - During rehearsal prior to a set of quickly upcoming shows I started having signal chain issues that I was able to track down to 3 pre pedalboard patch cables. These were custom length cables and I needed replacements quickly. After contacting Rattlesnake they were able to build and ship these cables quickly, and in time for the upcoming shows. Additionally I went with colored cables that made set up quick and accurate for anyone besides myself... May 2, 2023 Read Full Testimonial
Bob M. - Ordering was easy and delivery was quick, especially considering my cords are made when ordered. Great selection of both mono and stereo cords in a variety of cords. Of course none of this would matter if the cords were not top quality! They are the best I’ve used! May 1, 2023 Read Full Testimonial
Jeffrey L. - I received my cable just a few weeks ago and I've already ran it through the wringer - club gigs, theater gigs, dancehall gigs, and outside gigs. And man, it does not disappoint. First off, it looks cool as all get out. But even slightly more important, it sounds great. Clear signal, no hum, very transparent. Exactly how a cable should be. The build quality is top-notch too. And the customer service is beyond fantastic. Rattlesnake Cables all the... May 1, 2023 Read Full Testimonial
David P. - I have been using high-grade instrument and studio cables for at least 30 years. There's a lot of good stuff out there, but NO ONE like Rattlesnake Cables. Cable quality is construction and quality is second to nobody. Add to that the most amazing customer service, shipping speed, and personal attention that comes with any purchase, regardless of quantity, I can't see myself using any other cable manufacturer. THEY KNOW MY NAME! April 30, 2023 Read Full Testimonial
Eric T. - I must confess my love for the two cables I purchased from Rattlesnake! The cables are heavier, better built, and have amazing ends compared to competitors. The Mogami gold that I sent back to Amazon was wimpy in comparison, cable, and plug, and it was just cable off the spool for $99 bucks! Even my Armor Gold cables are thin in comparison. I am sold on Rattlesnake all the way!!! Customer service is World Class also! BUY LOCAL, BUY RATTLESNAKE,... April 28, 2023 Read Full Testimonial
Rick M. - Just wanted to thank Hank and his team for making quality cables. I was also very impressed with his response on the progress and a personal video with the order. Personal service like this is very rare in the computer age of self service and bots. April 28, 2023 Read Full Testimonial

I still need to do a more thoughtful setup, but I started by running the bridge pickup into a Vox AC-15 through my standard pedalboard, and the bridge into a Bassman 500. GLORIOUS.
Thoughts about our Service:
Not only did the products get out the door in record time, somebody must be living right (and I doubt it's me), because USPS got it to my door a day earlier than originally estimated.
So recently...
I know it's slowly falling apart and will fail at some point.)
So I decided to do a shootout and see if the spare was better in TONE than the one falling apart. Both sell for under $20.
Welp. For a moment, I thought the Pig Hog brought a cool 3-dimensional sound quality for a moment. As volume increased...there was this telltale GRAINY-SCRATCHY quality. It let more midrange signal through than the Conquest, however, that was very harsh.
Immediate ear fatigue. Harmful, in other words. Not only did the sound suck, but it would cause hearing damage and accelerate HEARING LOSS.
I have a premium speaker cable from another brand called Lava Cables that is just superb. I use that with my 2X12 cab.
I lucked out a few months ago and got a half empty 4x12 cab. I bought more speakers, and now it's fully loaded. I knew I needed another Top Tier cable to now send signal to this big cab.
So... I could have just bought another Lava. But curiosity got the best of me after testing that awful sounding Pig Hog cable.
The search and research began... And I find two interesting options.
First from Euro Tubes. They offer what's essentially a thicker version of the kind of cable you use for home or car stereo, no sheilding. Thick ass plugs at the end. Ok. Didn't sound bad. Kind of flat sounding. Not harsh at all ,but still gave me a Little bit of ear fatigue.
And the second option... You guessed it. RATTLESNAKE. Looked too good to be true right? Wrong. These people really really give a shit.
The construction was back in the realm of a proper amp speaker cable. Shielded. Braided and soldered. Good connectors.
Sound test. Keep in mind that my opinions, taste and hearing ability/loss all play a factor in how subjective my/our preferences are. I was wishing that this Rattlesnake cable would have a full and gorgeous sound quality. I don't know about your ears, but mine just adore what I heard coming through that Rattlesnake cable. It has a growly bottom end, transparent mids and an open top without that unpleasant upper frequency spike. They would help in taming or killing any ice picking. Like they figured a way to leave it sounding airy while rolling off just the right amount of harsh high mids and the tippy top end of frequencies.
It sounded much better(to my ears) than the budget brands. If couse it would. Miles apart.
Sounded better than the Eurotubes cable. Worth noting, every cable is 6FT.
How about against the Lava Tephra. You could have blind tested me and I am not sure I would be able to identify one from another. I love that Lava cable. I crossed my fingers and hoped I could find something else that could hang with Lava and... Be in the same ballpark pricewise. I can't say Lava is better. I can say they match well and are on par with each other. If Lava ever goes under...
Low and behold Hank has us covered. I think its awesome to have a team in Montana making such awesome stuff.
Now, why Rattlesnake leaves competitors in the dust. Details and personalization.
Then, there is the customer service and care. its unbeatable. When Hank sends you a video and says YOUR NAME, it just scrambles your brain. Who else? No one. Company or person. This is a one of a kind guy, running a one of a kind company
Worth every dollar and cent. I am telling my friends in the guitar community for sure.
