I have used and trusted Mogami Gold cables for many years now, but have recently found the need for some new pedals and ran out of room with the bulky connections . I have been receiving emails from Rattlesnake company about new products, and deals. I decided to try some of the Flex patch cables with the pancake connections to fit more pedals on the current board. The product came in a very nice box with all kinds of extras , cool stickers , personalized notepad, etc. I set up my board and as measured everything fit! I still have the same tone as before with more toys on the same platform. I have currently played two shows and I'm still satisfied with my purchase. These are the best dang cables I have in my arsenal. The sound is transparent, in other words, no darkening of tone. There is absolutely no loss of volume either. I play a five string bass and use two rattlesnake cables in my rig - one from the bass to DI and the other from the DI parallel out to the amp.

The Snake Head is the most robust cable I've ever owned. Since I've started using it, I've been able to get a lot closer to the tone I'm looking for in my bass rig. I have two Standard Rattlesnake cables, and a few Flex patch cables, and I have to say the quality is top notch - solid construction, and great workmanship, I have never had a performance issue with the cables. Since the casing on the cables is robust, the one challenge is coiling them up quickly, if that is something you might need to do... Otherwise, I can wholeheartedly recommend them. Next time I'll probably opt for the Snake Head cable for my guitar, since the casing is more flexible.
