I was looking for a splitter box to use with the Rick o Sound feature of my 4003 bass and came across Rattlesnake Cable Co. They had exactly what I was looking for so I jumped on it. From the start I knew I had found the right source for my current and future cable needs. I placed my order at about 8 pm on a Monday evening, around 9 am the following morning, I got a msg from Hank Donovan thanking me for my order and telling me they would start making my cable and box that morning and it would ship out that afternoon. At 3 pm that day I got the msg that it had shipped. Tracking said it would arrive Friday, it showed up Thursday. When I opened the box I was impressed not only by the quality but the unique packaging. Both items were inside draw string burlap bags with the company logo imprinted on them. It is easy to tell that these craftsman take pride in their product. I now recommend them to all my musician friends when we talk and I highly suggest that anyone looking for a great cable, get a Rattlesnake.

Bought myself a Gibson Flying V and I needed a right angle connector on a cable. I saw an ad for Rattlesnake cables, and thought I would check it out. I ordered a 10 ft. cable with a straight connector, and a right angle connector, with green cable protection. I am impressed with the construction of the cable. The connectors are Neutrik connectors. I’ve used different types of Neutrik connectors at work. They are well made, and high quality. The heat shrink covers the cable, and onto the connector which helps support the cable at the entry to the connector. The green sheathing over the cable is will definitely help to prevent abrasions damage to the cable. I haven’t had a chance to do a sound comparison between the Rattlesnake cable, and my other cables, but I expect that, with the quality of the construction, this cable will be as good if not better than my Fender cables.

I started using Rattlesnake cables a couple of years ago when I made the switch to amp modelers. The first thing that struck me regarding the quality was the physical feel and durability. They get tossed about, packed and un-packed quite frequently and hold up better than any cable I've ever used. As to the sound quality, well, I'm not an audio engineer. But I can tell you I never experience any inexplicable hum or disturbance in my signal chain. Whether from the instrument lines or the speaker cables running to my FRFR's. The custom options are great as they are willing to work with you to achieve whatever the application may be. I'm in the process of replacing every cable I use throughout my rig with Rattlesnake cables. The customer service is top notch and in my experience, the delivery turnaround has been lightning quick. In every instance, I had my cables within days of ordering, even with some custom options. I'm a Rattlesnake customer for life.
