I just got the cable, and it works. Honestly, I haven't had a chance yet to put it through it's paces or compare it to my Mogami or Vox or planet waves cables, so bear that in mind. First of all, the whole experience in buying and receiving feels like a boutique cable (b/c it is). Pick your length, you connector types, your colors, etc. I opted for a 15' TRS Copper, non-"snake head" cable. The cable comes in a box in a cloth bag like you might find with high-end dress shoes, stickers, a velcro cable wrap, etc. It's just so well put together and packaged - completely unlike buying your typical Planet Waves or George L or Lava Cables. The Rattlesnake cables seems to be almost the same as Caulfield Cable's Tour Series in terms of construction, capacitance (the Rattlesnakes have better capacitance than the Caufield Standard Series), flexibility, etc. Even without the 20% discount that you can regularly get, the Rattlesnakes are significantly less expensive, AND have better plugs. And there are the regular sales for different colors, even colors that you don't normally see on their site. It's a win-win! I bought this on a whim, basically. I found a blog article. Then I read up on the cable quality on TheGearPage (all glowing reviews). I compared to Caulfield Cables. Rattlesnake wins, easily. Half the price of Lava, better than Planet Waves, cheaper than the equivalent Caufield. These will be my standard go-to instrument, speaker, etc. cables from now on. And if they start making the MIDI cable variants that Caufield does, I'll switch to those too.

I been playing live and recording over 45 yrs. Constantly checking out new Gear- but the real test is playing live with a group/band to really decide if it passes the sound test etc...I had stumbled across Rattlesnake Cables a couple Years back and there was a video of someone in a studio that went into these cables with detail about how well made and the tone of them. To tone is said to be a bit better on a 15 foot cable on retaining the highs was part of the reason that interested me. Well I finally took the plunge. I received my order within a few days, in the cool sort of light beige sack that you'd catch a snake. When performing live this 15 foot cable does not kink up/tangle like other woven cables or standard non-woven, which is one of the reasons I would get irritated after using a well-known high-end cable the kinking and tangling. Plus their patch cable jack sleeves would come loose and one had shorted out me. Someone said that other brand was made more for Studio Musicians etc. Well I can tell you these Rattlesnake cables are very well made, sound and durability for stage and studio. I am very pleased with what they produce. By the way these cables are also uni-directional meaning both ends of the cable are the same in tone. I had to mark my other cables which side was for guitar and which was for amp or pedals. Most mfg. don't mention this at all.
