Some time later, my friend Travis Hewson showed up on the site as a Rattlesnake Artist ! His band Incoming Days happens to be my favorite ! I knew what to expect because the company's integrity seemed to be on top of the game. I placed my order and received the absolute, best guitar cable I've ever used ! I compared the signal of my best existing cable to that of my new Rattlesnake Cable... I'm afraid my old cable no longer rates review against my beloved, Sage Beast. One thing I took note of: Let's say my cable is lying between my amp and my pedal board. Now I can pull lightly and my Rattlesnake slides over my effects, thanks to the slick braiding. Versus my old cable dragging everything with it, due to non-jacketed rubber insulated exterior. It's a big deal. I ordered a couple of flat head patches to try. Also a game changer. Must have more. I purchased a couple of purple 1/4" cables that arrived in a matter of days. These cables are pretty sweet. The covering sleeve of the cable is a braided nylon-type of material that covers the inner vinyl cable, making it slick on rugs and different objects which helps with snagging and tangling. I found they don't twist up as bad as the traditional vinyl covered cables because they are a little stiffer and seem to have less memory, so when you go to unwind them they just pop back to a manageable coil. So far so good, and I'm so impressed I just ordered a pair in green so I can see what instrument cable is which on the floor and prevent any unnecessary mess that may occur.
