I decided to try these a few years ago because of all the high praise I was reading. I've used cables at all different price points before and the difference in sound quality was negligible, so I wasn't expecting anything in that regard. I just wanted something extremely durable, which these most definitely are. I was shocked at the amount of clarity and detail I heard. These are now the only instrument cables I'll use. You can always tame frequencies you find unpleasant, but you can't add back fidelity that has been lost due to inferior cables.
