After buying cheap lightweight cables forever, I'm finally realizing that I need to do better. I bought a "snake head" cable and was so impressed that I ordered second one. I'm not a pro musician, but I have a gig every month or so and I need my sound to be consistent and to carry well over a big band. My cables I bought have no static, give a great consistent signal and, as far as I’m concerned, are well worth the cost. I have occasionally paid much more than this for cables from other companies and have not been as satisfied.

I used to be "addicted" to Monster Cables due to their reliability and unlimited warranty. I replaced my bass guitar cables 4 or 5 times when they "went bad" . Then their product got sold to another company and their Unlimited warranty suddenly became LIMITED. So, when a couple of my XLR cables stopped working, I decided to try Rattlesnake cables. VERY STURDY, and worked right away and I can see which cables among the rats nest onstage are mine due to the multi colors available from them.
