Got a TRS to dual mono splitter because I was tired of fighting with TRS Y cables not being the right length when I rearrange my pedalboard and many pre-built custom cables always having difficult to work with plugs (Either not low profile or pancake connectors won't fit right next to each other on the pedal). Mounted to the underside of my pedalboard, I was able to get a short TRS-TRS cable on one side and use my custom length TS cables on the other side with tiny connectors that fit anywhere. Best of all, if I move devices around, I can keep using this and just make the correct length TS cables so everything fits without excess.
