I'll be honest. These cables look cool. That's why I visited the Rattlesnake Cable Company website initially. Then I read about how everything is made, and I had to try some out. I have a 10' snake weave guitar cable with the right angle (I went with gold hardware) and the "snake head" wrap on the instrument end. I also got some patch cables for my pedalboard. Everything looks fantastic, and while I wasn't sure about wanting the snake head wrap, I was immediately glad I did. I wrap that part around the strap, so when I unplug and pull the cable through, there is no friction from the snake weave rubbing against the strap. I previously used standard black cables with nickel hardware. We've all had to re-tighten those, and that’s why I dig the wrap on these cables, which is on all of them, regardless of whether you get the snake head or not. Even if these didn't look great, their sturdiness and craftsmanship of them would be worth it. As for the sound, there has been zero popping, which tended to happen with my other cables, if they got jostled. I have only played with the cables that I have for about 10 hours onstage since I got them a week ago, but they've already done well, in and outdoors. I am looking forward to replacing all of my cables with Rattlesnake ones.
