Ok, I wanted to gig them a little before commenting. I bought two 10' and two 6' rattlesnake color guitar cables. The 10s are for our 2-3 man acoustic gigs or small stage shows. For larger stage I would use the wireless. The 6’s are for a small practice space. Pros: First the obvious: the website is excellent for information and functionality. Second the customer service is top notch. Emails confirming the order, starting the build, shipping, and to confirm the order is acceptable. Third, the whole process only took a matter of days between the order and having the cables in hand. Btw, the packaging is very professional. A+. Cables USA made to order by hand - A+. Now the cables themselves, the pros and cons. Pro 1. The cables look great. Back when I started playing there were endless manufacturers and a rich pallet of colors of cables to choose from, just so long as you wanted a black Whirlwind. When our road guy opened my gig bag he saw something resembling a rattlesnake and he nearly hit the ceiling. He denies it was that dramatic. But it was. The laugh earns an A+ for appearance. Pro 2. These wrapped cables are STIFF. Stiff can be beneficial but not universally. Stiff means that these things are tough. I believe they will out live me. It also means they do not tangle. Signal cables that don’t tangle are worth their weight in gold. Now the cons: These cables are STIFF. That works fine with two ten footers on a small stage, from amp to pedals to guitar. For a large stage the 6’ or 10’ will work fine between amp and wireless base unit. (I don’t use pedals in that circumstance). But the two 6’ in a small practice space doesn’t work. The cables are stiff and unforgiving in that use. I put a single Jackson Audio two stage gain pedal between the cables in that use, and those stiff 6’ cables flip that pedal all over the place every time the guitar moves. Having it to do over again I would have bought nothing less than the 10’s for the tiny area due to the stiffness. Overall I would highly recommend any rattlesnake cable 10’ or longer.
