At the time I was trying Evidence Audio after using George Ls for while, but I knew I was still searching for something else. There was still a stiffness to the sound that I have difficulty explaining. Rattlesnake Cables instantly provided my setup with openness and brought out more nuances and character to my guitars, amps, and pedals. It just sounds more natural and open. I haven't rethought my cables since. I couldn't give Rattlesnake Cables a higher recommendation for cables that provide great dynamics, quality, value, and that elusive feel.
If it helps, my typical setup is: custom shop Les Paul or Strat > 12-pedal board (compression-boost-overdrive/distortions-modulations-delays) > Hiwatt head w openback 2-12 cab.

My customer experience with Rattlesnake Cable Company was exceptional. The plug cover on snake head end of one of my cables started to become loose so I emailed Hank to ask about how I might fix it. Hank asked me to ship the cable back so he could check it out. Hank told me the connection was starting to fail so he offered to replace it with a new cable. I requested that an additional five feet be added to the cable length. Hank told me no problem and sent me back a new cable free of charge. Rattlesnake stands by their product and I honestly think one cannot go wrong by giving their cables a try.
